you can blind the pet. or cast miss-causing hexes on it.

isnt foul feast discouraging condition spam a good thing? another option besides draw/RC? anyhow, the time in between its recharge is enough for a spike with conditions in it to kill something.

i dont use either skill. ive been killed by a black moa shoving its beak up my ass a number of times. i dont like the conditions being removed from my target and thrown back at me. but i dont cry and ask for nerfs; i play with my brain against them. i think both skills can stay the way they are. because they make the game more balls-in-your-face. you should all have my cool attitude.

(this also indirectly replies to the guy that asked why i like the buffs that everyone hates some pages back)

It used to be like this.

(i.e useless)

After the change it first had 10 recharge, before it got changed to 2.

Checking the link above... sweet memories

@cytherea : u have to realize there are some very experienced ppl around who have been playing TA for ages (and have not left yet lol). Most of them is rly angry with izzy cuz he has successfuly destroyed healthy and competitive enviroment TA used to be (veeeery long time ago).
All what left for us is to so keep rolling over hexway shitters (ursn, vE and others) over and over again in hope to face at least half experienced balanced players.

Ur posts show u have absolutely no clue or u don't play TA at all. Either way stop trolling this topic cuz "TA is srs bsns" (to keep up with the latest urban trends).
If u suggest someone to spike using conditions while FF is recharging then u srsly need health care.

The last time I remember TA being competitive and fun was before glad points were introduced.

Back when people played for fun rather than to grind stupid titles.

what i meant was a spike whose damage was not mainly from conditions but big raw damage. the conditions just support it... like deep wound especially + some others that happen to be part of the skills involved in the spike

party-wide condition pressure is kinda gay anyways

u can try spiking the nec, but not anyone else really, because deep wound will get ff'ed fast enough.
if the nec has shield bash, gl spiking them.

cond pressure its hardly any different than hex overload + packhunter, which happens to be an insane a degen bot. but wait, those builds take (in YOUR opinion) skill, so they're by definition not gay, righty?

Skills that need fixing? Look no further than the Paragon's Motivation line.

http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Motivation

Paras are dieing out because this line is severely lacking in usefulness.

deep wound is usually best applied early in a spike but if an ff nec is around you can put deep wound at the end so it kills the target the instant it's applied, a dead target cant be ff'ed

i have mixed feelings about those degen packhunters. i guess they fall in the "kinda gay" area. if they're the HaO + stances type...

Motivation is a truly terrible, button mashing auto red bars go up attribute that needs to die. Paragons are perfectly functional without motivation and PVP is made far better for the abscence of it.

Now do that to sins, rits, and dervs, and GW might be easier to balance

The only reason not to be running a paragon right now is because incendiary arrows is op.

Which doesn't change the fact paragons all need to be sent to one of those "voluntary separation" programs.

TA meta is pretty much ghey.

People make builds with normal skills and "abuse them" (eg. Outugh's Cry, Enraged Lunge) and then the own-ees ask for nerfs.
Underpowered skills don't need nerfs.

Hidden Caltrops needs a nerf, not this stupid junk you all complain about because someone is good at using the skill.

I'd agree. Look at similar skills and it's pretty lol to think that Hidden Caltrops is in balance.
