Otherwise known as Polly, is known for his erratic play style. He builds adrenaline on 4-5 different targets one time, and then the next time he builds it on just one target. Mix it up and be as random and different as you can.
Polly is known for many things, but for erratic playstyle he is not.

You're right. All of rawr's wins were imaginary.

having said that, i have to totally agree with that mitch guy, spiking is for losers who never win and pressure seems to be dominating the current metagame. so basically you should take those 2 whoru warriors out of the OP and put in those two guys that that other guy mentioned.

Why? Why?

Will idiocity ever end?

This thread is starting to remind me of something I'd read on QQ forums.

That being said, good points everyone! ^.^

imo the most important part of playing warrior is making strategies on the fly of how to crumple the other team while keeping up good micro and calling shit at the same time

examples:

1)do they have a monk who kites backwards a lot, sometimes losing aggro of one of his teammates? maybe this means you should stick 1 warrior on the monk who kites like this and get the other to spike a target out of his range
2)do they have a player who doesnt pay attention to his positioning that well? people like this are just begging to be spiked
3)do their monks prot people up really early/fast? maybe this means you can fake them out into protting the wrong guy and spiking someone else while they are recharging

just little things like that are the most important part of playing warrior in 8v8 imo. as long as you dont terribly fail at micro you can still do well just by having good game knowledge.

finding the little details and making strategies like these on the fly to punish them while adjusting to their play style is what seperates the good warriors from the bad ones .

Another example: Most bad players wont even try to dodge bulls strike, and decent players will stop moving just as you get to them so that if you queue it up you will not KD them..elite players know when to stop to dodge and when to keep running. You have to judge who has good awareness on their team and who doesn't. If you know how they will act when you run at them with bulls strike recharged they are in just as bad of a position as the guys who dont even try to dodge it.

Sometimes when you get used to playing against a certain tier of player you will get thrown off when facing worse/better people because of how they behave differently. Try not to get into a set pattern of playing because then it will be YOU who is read like a book by the enemies and not the other way around. The first thing you want to do in the match is discover how they play and change how you play to counter them - this is where experience takes over.

As a rule of thumb I like to start off GvG's assuming the other team is really good because if they are then woohoo you judged them correctly and can take steps to countering the things that good players tend to do. If they aren't good then its not really that bad anyways since you can just adjust and after all they aren't good and will lose to you anyways.

playing warrior is all about getting ahead in the the mind game, the best way to describe it is getting to know 8 people very well and then trying your best to stab them in the back when they dont see it coming

[disrupting chop]
use Frenzy, and use your skills in this order: Eviscerate-->Executioner's Strike-->D-Chop...

super 1337 list of uber secrets that every good warrior is hiding from the rest of the gw population so that the best stay the best and the worst dont get better

if you cant beat it 8v8, split

if you cant beat it by a split, collapse

if you still can't beat it, hit the lord

if you still can't win, do it over and over again until you to figure out how to do these 4 strategies properly
