Hey,

The contents of the update that was leaked is as of now correct as far as I can see.

There are two great issues solved.

Primal Rage is no longer that broken because downtime can be forced on someone. Turret issues partially solved and while activation times of hunters and melandrus not been touched flail + read the wind nerf might be eneogh.

Distracting Strike dealing no damage solved the damage compression issue of the hammer bar however now its conditional dshot functionality may cause it to be taken of bars.

Weapon of warding nerf hurts the ability of ritualists to keep any npc in the base alive, and will cause weapon of warding to be not used in HA lol. Possibly a good thing since unstripable defence isnt a great thing.

Wail of Doom no longer broken so badly. Rend and Gaze now interruptible so decent.

All in all a fairly decent update. Something i have said maybe once in three years.

heh this update was a complete FAIL for pve players i am still waiting for a tactics buff... anet is awful at rebalencing skills which is why they have to do it so often... what other games get this many updates? GW is never gonna be out of the meta stage its in now because of all these ridiculous skill changes. GUESS WHAT... if your enemy is using a great tactic..use it too! dont complain about the skills needing rebalencing

Man who gives a **** about JQ...yes it should probably be fixed but anet has so little resources to take care of these things.

I just wonder if the WoW nerf was really enough...still uniquely good for protting, just not npc's, heroes and ghostly hero now.

Be interesting to see how all this settles in. I suspect the PoD restore nec (or BiP / strip version in cookie spike) will become quite amazing now.

I really like the changes to aura of restoration, ether feast, illusion of haste, healing signet, and especially weapon of warding. Should hopefully make splitting more of an option. (heavy caster splits for the glory?) Aura of restoration buff combined with gaze of contempt/rend enchantments nerf is especially delicious.

The only thing I'm missing is a nerf on Foul Feast and Lingering. Pretty decent update

Forgot stuupid smite stuff stacking with conjures etc. I smell a lot of nH build now with rend nerfed.

It's basically an inferior distracting blow. Unless you really liked interrupting shell shocked targets.

I ended up using resilient weapon alot on archers/footmen with so many conditions flying around on typical gankers. A definite hit (ouch bodyguard) but I don't think the rit is completely out yet.

The caltrops nerf is really big, I wonder whether shackles rit or ether prism e/rts will be the new choice for snare-flagger. If that's even worth the effort vs monk.

This update isn't terrible, but it's very very very far from good.

Skills that absolutely needed a nerf but were not nerfed: Lingering Curse, Peace and Harmony
Skills that should have been nerfed but were not nerfed for 4v4 play: Lingering Curse, Foul Feast
Skills that absolutely should not have been buffed in PvE but was buffed anyway: Aura of Restoration
Skills that should have been nerfed but were nerfed too hard: Primal Rage

Well, good to see a change in the meta. [Weapon of warding] (pve version) has the same end clause as the pvp version, so they need to fix that. Hopeful to see how flaggers are going to be an now. [primal rage] is still being ran by brave warriors.

Quite good, love the changes that make split builds more independent. Time to go back to Eviscerate Shockaxe with Primal out of the way.
