Default Hammer builds esp. useful 5e spells

So currently I'm running this:

[devastating hammer][crushing blow][bull's strike][distracting blow][hammer bash][flail][rigor mortis][enraging charge]

Basically the spell slot is free for any kind of secondary class spell, preferably 5e/ 1sec or less and (importantly) useful with only 3 in its attribute point.

[shock] Good but the build has enough energy skills that exhaustion hurts, and since it already has 3 KD attacks it doesn't have such a need for it.

[death's charge] I see this used a lot, it's excellent. More uses than you'd think at first glance. I didn't like how the color matched with enraging charge though, green is prettier. Maybe I'll put it next to a yellow skill. 30sec recharge is a pain but doesnt run you out of energy.

[rigor mortis] 10e but good for keeping a monk down for your KD chain. Scary zombie face on skillbar. Frightening like the frenzy guy. I wonder if it works on shield bash.

[Rip enchantment] This spell is a test to see whether an ele is using attunement. Good for removing guardian but a 1sec cast to remove a 4sec recharge spell is a bit impractical. Bleeding can make them waste a bit more energy.

[Mending touch] Usually this is the monk's job, I think it looks pretty but would prefer an all-offense bar. Great if you run into a ranger while split. Whammo noob etc.

[conjure lightning][conjure frost] I like this on axe but currently not using it on hammer. I tend to find axe damage a bit disappointing without conjure I mean critting for 59 wtf.

What others are there ? I've always been a firm believer in secondary class skills, as a buffer / melee specced into magic use will beat a pure melee in many if not all games.

Also does anyone here like [pulverizing smash] over [crushing blow] ? I could see it having several advantaged / disadvantages but currently I'm enjoying the free 90+ damage hit of [crushing blow] and this post is getting long.

Thoughts ?

Tell me about hammer builds

Default maybe try this?

back when I did hammer RA I ran something like this ( before the plenty of nerfs to "FGJ!" )

enraged charge
FGJ
devastating hammer
Fierce Blow
Heavy Blow
Mokele Smash
healing signet
Res signet

FGJ -> enraged charge -> dev hammer -> fierce blow -> heavy blow -> Mokele Smash -> 1 regular hit -> Dev Hammer -> fierce blow -> heavy blow.

nailed the monks to the floor, 4 KD's with like 2 seconds uptime between the two chains.

though doesnt work anymore, maybe you could use the idea for your current build.

[grasping earth] can be fun. Although KDed people don't run very far, a snare is definitely never wrong.

yeah [resurrection signet] is defiantly missing from your skill bar, however I'd remove [distracting blow] instead of the spell from it.
as for the spell, I share your view that [shock] and [conjure lightning](or any other) are too energy intensive for a Hammer bar.
personally I like [sight beyond sight] but that's mainly for RA and some TA(when not using a [foul feast] Necro that is) however in GvG and stuff it won't be needed. as mentioned above me [grasping earth] works wonderfully in a standard [Devastating hammer] bar.

You only use Pulverising if your IAS is frenzy, if your using flail you cant Dev,Flail,Pulv because pulv requires the adren you used to activate flail.

[mighty blow][pulverizing smash][enraged smash][protector's strike][hammer bash][flail][enraging charge]

Any ideas about that ? I used it for a bit and thought it more interesting than the usual dev build. Basically the secret is to use hammer bash --> enraged smash --> pulverizing smash while in flail... it's a little bit harder to pull off than the dev hammer --> crushing blow, but does more damage.

I liked it quite a bit. Surprisingly energy management is very very easy with [enraged smash] but you have to be careful with [protector's strike].

Enraged is nice. imo you need an IMS you can maintain to catch kiters with enraged.
You spike is stupid, your wasting enraged, all its doing is giving you +adren, your not even getting the +damage, youd might as well hit enraging charge during your spike to charge adren.

This kind of bar is generally better run on a R/W thumper style character, using enraged to KD kiters, hammer bash to KD anyone, and crushing blow to add pressure and DW anyone who is on the ground.

[Enraged Smash][Crushing Blow][Hammer Bash][Mighty Blow][Rush][Flail]

That's pretty standard. Smash charging Rush is all the adren/boost you need. You can generally even smash right after the bash is up, regardless of if they KD or not you'll get the adren to break flail and rush again.

Still it's a bastard on energy. Something like [Enraged Smash][Protector's Strike] can be spammed all day by thumpers/sins on the other hand.

There is no point in running Dev Hammer when you can run Warrior's Endurance in the current meta.

[enraged smash] is a nice skill now, but you're just using it wrong Lux. use it like you usually use [bull's strike], as it only gives you more damage and spammability to the best non elite Warrior skill in the game
