[[ether prism] stops spikes from going through but enough pressure and shutting down the ranger easily gets a win against this iway. the skill itself sees no play other than iway.

against the paragon iway is also easy (but long) win with addition of more necros (even if they bring pnh).

imo strongest gimmick is probably still smites/tease combos. The chances of succeeding also dramatically changes depending on the map / # of teams because they pack offense and defense into one.

But as a whole, I'm really happy with the reduction of 2PS/gwen teams since it was the least fun to play against. I play my mesmer from time to time which never saw action during gwen era

Prism has seen some experimental use on GvG flaggers and HA supports, both with energy blast...besides the point though.

Heroways are still popular but it's a lot easier to spike heroes and PS sins after the WoW nerf.

The current meta is extremely boring. They should remove heroes from pvp play (HB only ofc) and I'll be happy. I like some meta changes sometimes, but this one sucks the most.

sway with trappers was definatly more annoying, but this one is isn't as much annoying as it it exploiting glitches in the AI.

Heroes are supposed to RESEMBLE human players, interrupting 1/4's on a regular basis is not one of them.

I didn't mean in the way of annoyance, more in the way of fun/boring. And the current meta is really boring.

Also, if people can't find enough players to play with, they should take henchmen instead. They aren't just there for decoration. Heroes should just be removed from PvP play.

Hardly... It's a GOOD skill, MAYBE on the absolute bottom of "overpowered stuff since NF release", but definatly not one of our main issues...

The matter of fact is that the skill, when it's played by a shit player, it just some average to good energy management, whereas when it's played by a good player, it's a good spike-stopper.

The fact that this skill is so good in, mainly GvG, PvP, only goes to show the meta has become to spike-based.

We can thank W/A shitspikes for that, yes I'm looking at you WE, Mind Shock, Kappa Spiker and Rspikers...

The skill is completely fine in this meta, and I'm sure it'll still be after some of the redicilous damage nerf (Rangers, Mind Shock, KappaSpike, etc).

IWAY is an easy beatable build, and the only teams I see loosing to it, is joke guilds such as No Veo Na (Xx), or any other Bspike/Shitspike top guild. As for HA guilds, I only see the typical teaseway guilds ((Nion), (...)) loosing to this, and that in fact is a good thing.

On a side note: Don't even compare this build to rspike. Rspike haS (It's still as OP as it ever was, and I still want it nerfed to shit) the ability to stay alive for... pretty much indefinatly against any team build, IWAY doesn't.
Have your mesmer babysit their Ranger, have your warriors NOT be bad and kill the spirits the E/Rt's put down the second they go up and the E/Rt's will just destroy themselves. Think about it, they got NO Spirit Transfer and NO spirit light (They sac about 80% of the heal).

But then again, when I see top 100 guilds such as (xx) face them (even when they run dual warrior balanced), they are completely RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing up. They assign their ranger to kill the oath ranger's spirits and interrupting him, even tough he has whirling defence, and their Mesmer is to bad to interrupt any weapon spells. Aswell as both their warriors who are a complete joke, and rather hit the Ele that's RIGHT ON TOP of recup for 10 minutes straight, rather than to first kill the recup, and watch the ele sac himself to death with spirit light.

I'm sorry, but the build is AT MOST an annoyance, and COULD, if they can stay alive for 5+ minutes and manage to dchop ALOT of vital skills, outpressure your team. And even then, if you shut down the PnH, have your hammer warrior backline one IWAY, have an ele snare another, you, in essence, have got 2 warriors with no spiking power whatsoever pressuring your team.

pls don't have your mesmer babysit the ranger, have him rupt oath shot, count it's recharge between that rupt the eles weapons. let an ele mop up the few spirits that go up.
