Ah so when the heroes are cast out in the name of "balance" i guess it'll switch back to "its this build".

I commend you though, you have the brains to actually not go there when it's no fun

nope, meta still sucks and will continue to suck until HA will be reworked, which is only wishful thinking cause GW2 is just around the corner, well if you consider 2 years around the corner... :S

Played all last night. Played against 1 IWAY, 1 Lichway, and a ton of teaseway (swapping out PS for warriors is still shitty teaseway it is not balanced).

Meta isn't really changing.

Last night, I watched two gvg guilds play each other on Golden Gates.....They were both running teaseway....one had a variant.....took 18 minutes for it to end, and the only reason it ended was due to a resign.

The only way to win now: hope their monks get carpal tunnel after 15 minutes.

I want Riftspike and ViMway back....

Changing? No.

The only "new" thing is this new type of iway. There was death spike before.

Am I happy? No, nor do I care, playing WoW and Dekaron, and looking forward to the so-called quarter update which comes in April.

Was that the one with Team Voyager running dual mesmer and a flagrunner? Yeah I watched like 10 min of that before I had to leave for school, booorrrriiinngggg. But TV wasn't running teaseway. VoR =/= tease. The build looked straight from GvG, with a hero running the VoR mez.

And FYI to the OP, Lichway isn't really all that new, people were running the same basic build with Flesh Golem before AoTL got buffed. And the "balanced" is just Warriors instead of PS sins (as reverend said), and a tease hero instead of a human PD. On the higher ranked teaseways, I've seen a few run a ranger instead of the earth ele, some run a RoJ smiter instead of the earth ele....the point is if you have a me/rt hero on your team, you are playing teaseway.

Standard teaseway doesn't have an earth ele

The generic teasway is now:

2 PS sins (maybe on PR axe)
1 SH ele with manta of resolve
1 LC nec with snares
1 tease hero
1 PnH monk with command
2 monk backline

When two of these teams face each other, especially on fetid and chambers it is painfully slow slog out to pressure monk energy and rack up DP on the hard rez...maybe get a lucky interrupt or terrible protting on players knocked down in SH. It's just terribly boring all around...and not going away.

When I was playing a bit during the first night of double fame last weekend, ran into several groups running an earth ele in one of the midline spots...and wasn't the earth ele meta before LC/PnH were buffed? Haven't played much at all in the last 6 months so I'm not 100% on this. For some reason I put earth ele as if it were meta still, my mistake. The groups that I saw running a smite monk probably just ran it in place of the lingering curse necro.

Anyway, agreed on the matches lasting forever...

Some teams are running a UG instead of an LC nec now since PnH and lots of party healing makes LC kinda useless.

QFT. I don't care about heroes, give me Spiritway any day of the week over this snorefest.

The thing people are figuring out now in both HA and GvG is that 4-healer teams are strong. Incredibly boring, but strong.

Life on the street is always changing. The rules of the game always change, the game remains the same. If you're a good hustler you're already prepared for the change. You take advantage of the opportunities and you make bank on that shit. That's the life of a true hustler, always looking out in the future. But not so far ahead he can't see where he's stepping.
