Because nuking is fun!
But the monsters in PvE have this urge to move out of Meteor Showers, and then I am like WTF girlfriend!??!?
So I AB - because it gives me a playingfield to shower foes with my love!

As long as the luxons patrol their borders and drink kurzick blood, there will always be peace and justice in Cantha! ELELELELELELELE!

People like this are why i decided to go luxon (yay underdogs)

And the reason we have less of a wait time is because:
  • We have less players then the kurzicks do
  • Most of the experienced players go sync ab with their ally or something so pugs have less time to get in
  • Most of the luxons who want faction go do Jade Quarry instead

Note: I personaly do ab because I like to watching the drama and people screaming SUXON Fr3aks!!!!11! or KURDICK NÜBz!!!!!11!!!!1!!one!!

'What, lo! Is that thing over there?'
'Tis a frail Suxon, crouched in despair.'

'Why is he crying? Where is his home?'
'His people are dying, and now he's alone.'

'How did this happen
Where are his friends?
What are the means
to cause such an end?'

'O, they brought turtles,
and they brought stances
They even brought jade
in hopes of advances.

But what was forgotten
as they invaded
was strength and honor.
Yet still, they raided.

They had no thought
of regret or fear
nor KURZICK HONOR!
ringing their ears.

They brought the thunder
to Kurzick lands.
And wept in wonder, O!
Killed where they stand.

And now, caked in blood
The Suxons should know
Byron Germanicus
is their eternal foe.'

Bobby2 has spoken truth! Bow down and be awed by Luxon superiority!

I use AB to spend time on MSN because of the **** waits on Kurzick sides. Why does the map always seem to be ancestral at times when I play?

Usually I enter a game and wreak major havoc with my team and still kurzicks lose, it's pretty depressing.

I go AB because it is fun. I'm not exactly a pvp type of person, but at least AB gives me the chance to try out pvp without needing to be some sort of elitist player to join any teams.
I used to fight for the Luxons, but I got sick of hearing someone nearly every battle shout: CAP! CAP! CAP! CAP! I have seen the light and now fight alongside the Kurzicks. Since that day I have seen the amount of wins and kills I have scored in AB's go up massively. And not once have I seen someone spam into Team Chat: CAP! CAP! CAP! CAP!

Pfft, the only reason you win more is because the map is always on Grenz/Ancestoral Lands because we Luxons crush you all when you dont have massive advantages.

Long live turtles!

Recently I find I play AB because of its own unique appeal: it is very different from every other kind of PvP. Another upside is (pardon the arrogance) I know quite a bit about AB. Recently I managed to pester Divine into playing a few AB games, and I observed his, Snuff's, Jaden's and Ensign's style at AB. If these are representative of how most high-end PvP'ers play AB, then I have spent most of my time playing something completely different: pure capping. I know two completely different styles. Fun.

Still, I doubt I'd ever play AB without friends, it's just too stressful otherwise.

I do it for the following reasons:

1. To get faction (''Balthazar'' and ''Luxon'')
2. To test how effective my pvp builds are and which ones are better then the other.
3. To see how effective my builds are with my team.

Getting the 'very casual players now' together and making serious people look silly. Bad people might even be worse than before, just different builds.

QFT, when both sides play that way AB's can be rather adrenaline-pumping. I don't find running around like a headless chicken and killing stuff at random fun anyways.

I usually play either melee, which do best with support chars as backup, or I play support char, which does best with a melee to support .

Running around alone with a warmongers rit is rather fruitless, therefore I prefer solid team play.

I find it amusing how 90% of people say they AB to watch bad ppl suck or what not. Yet if so many of you "good" people AB how can there be so many bad ppl?

More to the point, I AB because IMO its the funnest part of the game, PvE does not really appeal to me, something about beating a computer is not at all satisfying. I don't like HA too much, 90% of people run the exact same build and GvG is better than HA by miles however waiting 30-40 mins for a game and to spend 20 mins fighting another team is pretty boring IMO.

Contrary to popular belief, AB does take skill, I have seen many a trash talking high ranking GvG guild grps fail, epically in AB and blame it on their allies. AB presents a unique challenge, you have to have a build that functions fine on its own, but just as well in a team. AB can also be quite intense, there are games where both teams are very good and the score is neck and neck the whole game. The randomness of AB presents another challenge which makes the game more interesting. However I do agree that you should be able to make a 12 man team for AB, the day that happens (if ever) people suddenly will consider AB "srsbzns"

That being said AB is PvP, wait whats that?? Theres NPCs tho!! If you want to get all technical about it HA has NPCs GvG has NPCs hell even some arenas have NPCs.

So anyway thats my little rant AB is great, r11 luxon from AB and still loving it!
