Default HA builds > wiki

Remember the name of MATH? yes....if you play long enough you should know MATH is always a iway guild in tomb before the HA comes out.

I have decided to give out the guild build because of the three reasons below
1. I have seem many people quitting playing HA because of the loses.
2. I have seem many failures pug because of rank discrimations.
3. I have seem many people spamm and report because of rage quitters.

Now...
I will make it clear! 3 parts of this thread from r0 to r15 so you can start get your rank up!
I will start from the r0 first because that's what most people get cast-out, isolated and cant find a group.

if you are r0-r3 you have two options
1. radomway - not always work but I have seem randomway hold halls if you let people run what they are good at. (probley not the best choice but it might get good speed for a group)
2. Mathway - yes, it is pretty good at dominating UW, river, and mound maps and probley golden gate and halls depends on what team you face. Here is the build: 1 SOJ sin A/MO (wiki) 5 SH ele (Savannah Heat, Searing Heat, Teinai's Heat, Rodgort's Invocation, Metor, Fire Attunement, Breathe of Fire, Res sign) 2 heros: Me/RT (Tease, Power Drain, Drain Enchantment, Protective Was Kaolai, Spirit of Light, Mend Body and Soul, Life, Res sig) Mo/me (Zealous Benediction, Power Drain, Spirit bond, Protective spirit, Cure hex, Shield of hand, Shield of asorbtion, Ether Signet)
Attributes: A/Mo 15 deadly 12 smite, E/P 16 fire, 13 energy 40/40 set, Me/rt 12 restore, 9 inspire, 10 fast cast, Mo/me 14 Prot, 8 inspire, 9/10 on divine favor)
I will add more build for r3-r9 in next chapter

uhm, your math build consists of 9 people, or you are hax or it must be 4 ele's or 1 hero

Umm I'm pretty sure everyone knows what mathway is

Not that I like it all but I do feel kinda bad for people who can't get into any groups besides unranked random/tease/iways...if you are going to run mathway I suggest using these builds:

1x [build=Gust Caller;OQZjMoLMASmVLNUDIDqDiOQDCAA]
5x [build=SH Zerglings;OgliowMMRWRMUE1LsLgLQLIAA]

+ 2 hero healers. The only funny part about this build is wiping tease groups.

Or IWAY.

Or it's maybe too much for r0-r3, people need eyes, as skills are not needed. And r0-r3 people will have to train their eyes to play a good IWAY.

Note : I've seen so many IWAY vs IWAY fights, with dumb warriors, dumb rangers ("against IWAY, let me set my spirits, I promise I'll do my best to keep them up !" was the funniest thing I've heard there), dumb Prism and the classic "let the hero here" ...

1. everyone knows this build (needed much creativity)
2. the build is kinda bad, rly bad ppl lose to it , maybe good for unrankeds. dont really dream about hohwin with this except in dead hours with a small chance

i'm having fun rolling randomways pretty often, just the usual tab-invite + my 2 heroes when i feel like. nothing's more funny than beating like anyone with random (ofc you need luck and a few good ppl, and being an experienced ranger also helps lol)

and just a friendly note: always hide your (especially high..) rank if you create a randomway.. that will keep off the bad fame chasers (because surprisingly if i have r9 on everyone accepts invites then prolly leave in zaishen)

If you want to make a serious guide, you should use the skill codes like Arien did in his post

qft.
I hate to join the elitist crowd, but the build really does fail. Anti-mathway;

1) Mitigate damage before it comes. Aura the heal monk, spread the feck out, have mesmer interrupt the oodles of long casts.

2) Deal with damage as it comes. SoA people kd'd in heats, spirit bond if necessary, heal stuff up. Remove poison before Toxic Shock hits.

3) Twiddle your thumbs a bit as the +25 faction comes in.

Build lacks defence, and has one epic blast of heats that is your do-or-die push. If people push through chokes to get to you then yes, you'll roll them. Most of the time though it's going to be hard to get past underworld.
A decent build to go r0-r3 in though. I imagine it would destroy iway.

so if by some miracle someone was to get to r3 using mathway they are still gonna be cast out of groups that will win because they still suck.

Because r3's that play balanced has so much experience right? Not like that 180 fames mean anything. And they will be cast out because they are "only" r3. Pretty much anything below r10 became worthless I guess.

A quick note to those of you who primarily pvp but have noticed the decline in fresh blood over the past year...

We really do need a guide and some real advice and help. If you have the knowledge, make a guide. And please leave out the acronyms and slogans. Write as if the person reading it has never played and doesn't know what IWAY is or where MATHWAY came from, etc.

If you do this, without elitism, I guarantee you will see fresh blood come into pvp, which can only make the game more fun for everyone.

Some of us pve players actually do have some skill, and would likely become good pvpers if given the proper guidance.

The only point of mathway is fame farm, i.e. rush through zaishen and farm UW in quick matches. I'm not really defending it since it's so retarded but again, it's one of the few ways an unranked player can get fame. At any rate everyone knows what it is so it really doesn't need to be debated.

There is a not-so-long guide stickied in this section. Also I believe there was a bigger guide somewhere by divine ambassador, but not 100% sure about it.

While I appreciate the sticky, it only really orients the pve player on the path to take to get into HA. What I am suggesting is something for the unranked or low-ranked players that are ready for HA.

Along the lines of, "Here's an effective way to build your team to reach r3..."
Then, "When you encounter MATHway or IWAY, here's a strategy for beating them..."
Then, "Now that you've reached r3, here are ways to play a more sophisticated game and make it to r10..." etc.

If you build it, we will come.

What a joke. There is no such thing as balanced in HA.

Nowadays, balanced doesnt mean balanced, it means a good team that requires skill to win. And has lots of different professions in it. And can virtually counter everything.

Superdefense =! balanced

Easiest way to get fame, whether you be r0 or r14, is to join a PvP guild.

As a matter of fact if you are trying to HA and are not in such a guild and do not already have a ton of friends that play that format, you are doing it wrong.

Just a bit more defensive than our old balanced with a OoS rit because now PnH is kinda needed. Still makes it a balanced.
I'm just sick of trolls coming in these forums just to comment on how bad HA is when they run shitbuilds only.

I don't think anyone complained about the state of HA in this thread. If that post was directed towards me, then you certainly are mistaken in your evaluation of my post.

Also, I hope you're joking when you call that balanced.
