how can they 'fix things' by changing skills when some bright spark out there will always find an 'over-the-top' build to ruin pvp for the millionth time? no matter how many skills they change, pvp will never be balanced simply because players won't let it BE balanced in the first place. every1 loves the 'edge' on a game and getting the upper hand on the other players, and this always in gw boils down to nasty team builds using some skill combo that results in unforseen results.
Oh well I guess we should all give up and stop playing then. Cheers for your insight into that.

no, what im saying is even if they did this update a few months later there will be the same problems of overpowered builds and people complaining its umbalanced....again

what they should do is change how pvp works completly and not just buff/nerf skills which obviously isn't fixing the underlying problem. but what could they do instead to make it more balanced?

Well here is how I see it-

-Balance issues- mainly WE and P&H, nerf to p&h must come with nerfs to hexes that would break the game if p&h wasn't there to stop them (LC most notably).

-GVG- dumb tiebreaker is dumb.

-HA- needs a total makeover. refresh map rotation, fix halls, remove heroes, whatever. HA has come to the point where every single change would be good.

-TA- do something. has been dead for 2+ years.

If one of the above gets done it might be worth playing GW again

Hopefully their going to change the formats PvP areans which is really where the problems are. You can change as many skills as you want, as long as an out of date format is still there you can only go so far in the changes that need to take place. Anet has neglected alot of things about PvP, and there have been broken promises (i.e. Hero Battle re work). As someone mentioned before, actions speak louder than words. they've said we'll look into xyz and yet xyz is still a problem.
