I used to run a warrior with about 64 energy and Mind Shock in random arenas about two years ago.

The build was just a test to see how high I could get my energy, and how people would react to a warrior Mind Shocking them and getting the conditional.

Hands up if your team keeps getting those irritating RP people in ABs... the "For the glory of the Kurzicks!" or "The Luxons shall prevail!" kind of idiots who think ABing is all about fighting with honor, dying like a man, and running "paladin" builds.

*raises hand*

One must fight with honour in all that one does, and Alliance Battles are no exception.

One must also preserve one's honour by challenging Luxon/Kurzick scurs to various duels, and by winning, your prestige is improved immesurably in the eyes of your fello compatriots and u get mad skillz yo.

AB-ing is all about flashing moose emotes, talking trash, ragequitting and being a total jerkwad, dying like a man.

"Noob Runner" is simply the best, or people calling you bad because you won't hit them through on-attack shit.

I had some Rit using VwK and Vengeful Weapon, and he told me I was bad because I didn't attempt to spike him through it. Although watching someone die of poison and poison only is simply epic. Oh, and I just sat infront of the Rit, and when VwK came off my mate on a hammer Warrior started off a KD chain and we both spiked him together. Was epic.

Better a live coward who backstabs you later on, than a dead hero who dies right off the bat

My dom mesmer spammed that last night on a warrior who finally had figured out I was the guy screwing over his caster buddies--took me a while because I had tons of interupts but few damage skills, but this guy just kept whacking away, watching me recast sig of midnight until he died. Might have hit me twice. Why don't people give up and move on when what they're doing is totally failing?

Because people are bad at this game.

No, because there is no penalty for failing other than lost time. If tomorrow they made it so you lose balth faction or faction or glad points or whatever every time you die or lose match... ooooo... you would see average skill level skyrocket in a week.
But as it stands - why try to get better if you not only don't get penalized, but also get various points for merely participating?

I was somewhat intrigued to see a Necro in my PuG carrying a nice obsidian earth staff. Exactly the same as I was carrying........

False. The only thing that would result in, is a rapidly declining player base.

People want things to be more easier.

That kinda makes sense, I have a staff on my trapper too for extra energy, and a bow to oath shot.

The problem is that he was using a Ele staff on a /Mo. Why not use a monk staff in the first place??

The staff is there just for the energy, profession is irrelevant since staves don't provide any other useful functions for a trapper and s/he is not supposed to wand anybody in any case.

I don't know if this falls within the topic but a couple of days ago I saw some rangers poop the entire repertoire of ranger spirits all over the place, and I mean all over the place in Saltspray ... that was the first time I've seen Frozen Soil in AB. Needless to say, everybody's builds were totally borked by this so maybe it was just an elaborate prank.

I dont run my r/mo with 9 or more in Prot/healing, that would be a waste of attributes. LOL that reminds me of the ZB ranger I fought yesterday, another nice one for this already rapidly growing gallery of fail .

I love running an 8 spirit ranger build in AB. It makes certain area's impossible to fight in really. Would be better if there were more doing it aswell. It truly is hilarious to see.

I love playing cripshot for my team, crippling all the touchers, wamo's etc. and then watching allied ele's get sliced up because they stand there taking it. When you pointlessly die a message in giant red letters should come up on your screen reminding you that cost your team 3 points. And then of course, when you withdraw from a pointless skirmish you get called a noob runner by all the idiot warriors and dervs without a speed boost.
