I hope you do realize that balance builds take a certain level of skill and in this current meta could work well if played well.

Trust me Mitch it's some good stuff dude (someone Put the balanced love in the Kool-Aid), but in all Seriousness I just want to see a team running an honorable balanced build to win for a change, No Bloody hexes, Spikes or other crap that makes for easy mode win. Just a good honest team build that is 100% player skill that drove the outcome.

While AxE's balanced may be a "Joke" at this point my hopes are with them.

What build that they play are you referring to as 'balanced'? The Glass Arrows Ranger, Mindshock Ele, Mirror of Ice Ele build? That's a pure spike build..

I don't see a 'traditional balanced' perform very well in the current meta, too much op crap to deal with.

And meta aside, there's maybe a handful of guilds with a midline worth a damn, and that's being generous.

Glass arrows ranger, mirror ele, and mindshock ele isn't "balanced" at all. It's a spike build. And it isn't even that good.

I honestly have no idea who will win gold this month because I haven't been paying attention to the euro guilds and who's performing well.

I had a dream where vR won gold, and i woke up sweating, but then i soon realized it was only a dream and there was nothing to fear.

however, i rather vR win gold than another euro gold, yet that is wishful thinking

YAY SIERRA!

Our MAT is a total crapshoot based on who we make it and who we can guest, it will be interesting. Could go great or horribly, dunno.

Any of the other American guilds could do great or could do horribly, total crapshoot.

Even though XTH is down it's fun to make predictions. This mAT appears to be wide open.

1. KMD - Nobody is better right now.
2. Cry - Look for another strong performance.
3. StS - A threat for gold based on past performance.
4. dP - Heard rumors they disbanded, but they look alive and well to me.
5. rawr - Knocked out in the first round of the playoffs the past two months; still a good bet for top 8.
6. sKy - Top 8 last month; still active and solid.
7. HM - Silver last month and very active this month.
8. DirT - Hard to keep them out of the top 8.

Possible Euro breakthroughs
StP - I don't think they play enough.
AA - Solid core but beware teams that advertise for players on QQ forum.
KeKs - Silver last month.

Possible American breakthroughs
yumy - A lineup capable of gold, but every time I pick them high something happens.
AxE - Good performance on the ladder this month. In the mAT - who knows?
vR - Certainly capable of top 8, but they are inconsistent.
GeaR - A better ladder than tournament team
vK - A surprise top 4 finish last month. Can they do it again?
uP - great lineup . . . but they don't play together that much.

Nice list, but what about?

None but Fools [nuts]
We are the Hardmode [HM]
Shaq in Wonderland Oh [baby]

They have been playing pretty well lately?

Edit:
AxE is not an American guild, it's a German kiddy guild.

I got HM no.7.
nuts was a real surprise last month; I'm not very familiar with them.
I agree, baby is a possible Euro breakthrough team.
Thanks for the info on AxE.

Sorry, didn't notice HM on no. 7.

[nuts] was able to maintain their rank over the last month after their huge jump. I've even seen them play other builds than E/D split and win. Yesterday they won against [cry] with a mirror-build. I'm not sure if they suprise us again. That's all I know about them.

I doubt some of the guilds that made silver last month will qualify again. One of the reasons that the previous mAT results were really screwed up is because someone in Ouch apparently thought it was really funny or cool to register Bambi Division for 65 registrants and turn it into a seven round mAT, which probably screwed up everything. A lot of guilds got remarkably good (or bad) pairings.

In some cases, I don't think it would have mattered, but for others it could have made all the difference in the world. Granted, this has always been the case, but quite a number of the 4-3s were repeat cape trims who probably would have made it otherwise.

6. KMD
7. AxE
8. nuts / vK

Really feel a vacuum this month that opens a lot of spots for new teams.

I don't think I've seen baby play with a team of full [baby] players; it's always with guests from other teams. I dunno \O_o/

KMD or StS would be my pick for 1. Haven't really seen KMD play very much lately however. Not that this would stop them, but yeah.

To Sun Fired: yeah, I suspected something like that happened, as all of the 'better' teams started picking each other off, while the late night 'American' time teams were getting wins. Just didn't know what happened, heh.
