rigor = gg.

its even more depressing than dual MB. now 5 chars can smash there keyboard and win. also seeing top guilds running this crap makes me lose all respect for them. worst than blood spike.

hopefully uP can rickroll them and take gold. however, anet would nerf R/As if it won Monthly... maybe...

It's incredibly boring to watch*, plus rangers look 100% ridonkulous flapping around like landed trout trying to do the sin skill animations. Let's just lock all of the bspike teams and r/a teams on burning isle map and throw away the key >_>

I'll be cheering for anyone not running this crap. Thanks to mitch for explaining to me why it exists in the first place *sigh*

*Yes, I watch obs to be entertained. Not to watch 5 escape rangers fling pointy dinner knives at people.

Ok, so... I guess, whoever has the fewest people lagging out will win gold?

Oh, guarantee it'll be nerfed now, which seems to be the point.

gg rawr for their third gold cape guild.

Yes, gratz [rawr]. Nicely outbuilt, it's clever, if nothing else.

I honestly did not think almost everyone will be running R/A's.

GG rawr gratz for 3rd gold trim.

If im honest i would rather of seen yumy or gear win. because they didnt play r/a every round

but gg adapting to the meta and beating all the other r/a trash out there

1) rawr
2)GeAr
3)yumy
4)myr
5)sup
6)vPie
7)NOW
8)daun

I have a suggestion:

1. Take the guildwars live team and place them in front of a big screen television.
2. Make them watch the rawr/sup match.
3. Make them watch it again.
4. And again.
5. And again.

My theory is that after seeing this they might realize all the ways they've RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOed up and start fixing the game.

rawr is collecting gold-caped guilds. Their win was more than just build. They have the best 28-minute tactics.

After a shaky swiss, it was a good mAT finish in the playoffs for American teams

Swiss = constant lag out and error's, we were about to just stop after the 3rd round, the game was totally unplayable. But it seemed to get better as the mAT progressed.
Almost lost to yumy in single elims because of it as well (lagged much more in the swiss games).

This is one of the few months where a true 'pressure gimmick' won, most often it is won by the best (gimmick) spike or stall way.
I guess that is the main reason why it surprised everyone (including me) that it ended up being that good.

fwiw: up until 1 hour before the mAT we had no plans to use R/A's.

I... don't know how to describe the match. It looked like a 20 minute game of lava chicken. Followed by 8 minutes of sup collapsing, and Chop Chop bbq-ing the GL.

(yes, lol at my technical descriptions)

Seemed to me that neither side could kill the other effectively, so they just danced around trying to get lord damage...
