Even tho' it's random there should be some iron rules.
Like at least 1 elite for each attribute.

Why should there be? To think every class and every attribute should be viable in a sealed deck environment is absolutely ridiculous. Some days mesmers won't have domination but other days they will, just play something else then. There will be days that monks have no more heal than orison of healing and you're just going to have to put up with it. Be creative, the opponent has the same problem as you.

Some classes work better in sealed deck than others. Warriors, rangers, and paragons will always deal their weapon damage reglardless of attack skills. Sins will often be terrible because they're a bad 4v4 character and only have a few good combo's in the game so they have to get lucky on skills.

*shrug* Then bring in your PvE level 20s. After all, the skills they've gotten through PvE won't matter one bit and so what if your runes & insignias won't be perfect? The worst that might happen is that you'll probably need to invest in some new weapons from a crafter/collector for your weapon-based primaries in case they need to take a secondary to make up for lack of attack skills for their primary (like with Paragons yesterday).

@urania: By the way, considering your experience with organized 4v4, how do you feel about Codex Arena? Do you think ex-TA regulars such as you and your team will be playing it?

Codex seems like fun but my weak point is the organization part (language skills, that stuff). I ended up back at RA last night but today I might try Codex again.

well, my regular mates wont be coming back for a handicapped version of TA, so i mostly play with other people i know - its usually not exactly THE optimal teams i play in (and most often not exactly THE optimal builds we use either) so im rather unsuccessful at it - and since losing to scrubs wasnt ever my cup of tea and cuz i dont like gimped build wars i have to say i think it should be called Crap Arena instead of Codex Arena. Or TA for RA players.

Last of my friends have stopped playing because of CA finally. Few who have not been online since an eternity initially came back to check out CA, but quickly were disappointed and left again. Most who have been online sometimes before to play TA with have gone now too.

Tried CA a few times with those who came back to check it out, a few times also with PUGs... teams don't differ that much, most of the time two opposing teams just cancel each other out.. a draw or someone wins because he landed a lucky dshot when he was not blinded by EDA.

Though RA is a tiny bit more fun now since it can potentially go up to 25 wins.

I'll be waiting for Diablo 3
