Default Stomp and Tell

Wondering:

Who has been stomped by a really strong/lame build and would care to share it.

Just post what elements of the build surprised you the most, what you might have changed, etc.

This thread is fine, but any posts that flame other Guilds will be deleted and the posters will be infracted. Also, follow the OP's last sentence and don't just QQ all over the place.

To actually mention something slightly useful.
Facing SBRI for the first time on jade.
And not too many months later facing Jagged/hexes on jade as well.

I guess it was surprising both times how ridiculous hexes were since it was already logical how necros were always a terrible idea.

I would say any kind of hexway on Jade. Lame for obvious reasons.

Also, minion factory in HA back in the day. It wasn't so much annoying as it was hilarious to see all those minions. And the lag they caused...

Also, an honorable mention to the "original" Euroway...the one with the shadow stepping warriors and Spiritual Pain mesmers. It was a huge spike (>1000 damage) and if you didn't have a decent infuser it was indeed lame.

In all honesty, this thread was intended as a debate and theory crafting catalyst for those interested.

I was interested to see if anyone had recently faced an Overpowered build. Recent enough to make conversation and speculation relevant to this meta.

This thread wasn't intended for looking back on the most OP build ever made, unless you had some point to make by the reference of such a build.

---

Now, in my opinion, alot of the most overpowered builds in my view have taken advantage of soul reaping. Free Flowing energy was what made the first Spirit-Ways incredibly effective.

I have been seeing from time to time guilds running multiple hex necros, fueled by a battery necro.

My guild will occasionally run this too.
