That would functionally be the same as deleting the class, then making a new one with the same name.

Most people who define themselves as sins prefer pve+HB anyway so I don't even think anyone would make a single QQ thread here on teh forums. HB would have to be restored obviously and to avoid other people QQing over RR and zkey devaluation the arena could simply stop giving baltha faction+zquest.

All the previous OP sin elites could be restored(palm strike, shadow prison) and the subforum here should be unmoderated so all the "sins" could swim blissfully in their pool without having to consider balance and blasphemous remarks about 1-2-3-4-5.

At the end of the day, isn't it better for everyone when there's no QQ? If this suggestion becomes a success I will propose some changes to RA/CA/TA next.
quality idea, however, removing sins entirely (as well as all of the other non core professions) would likely result in a dramatic increase in guild wars' quality.

But...But then the only melee class left would be the overpowered warrior that combines dps, spiking, defense, and disruption all into one class, while having a skill energy/recharge system that rewards you for auto-attacking properly but doesn't punish you enough when you mess up on an attack skill!

Then again, you wouldn't have the retarded teleporting combo-chaining Assassin. And well, who'd miss the WS spamme...Uh, I mean, the dervish?

So.. Was this SW nerf the nail in the coffin for sins? I've popped into observer a few times today trying to see what people are doing for PvP builds now that SW is gone... and I didn't see a single one out of 20+ games lol

Assassins are a class that essentially cannot exist unless they are overpowered. Since they are so one-dimensional, they must be head-and-shoulders above everything else at that one thing, or you might as well bring a real class, have a slightly worse split option, but be able to play Guild Wars if for some reason your split plan doesn't work.

Reverend, agree with your statement. That is pretty much the only way assassins could be implemented in a positive fashion, although they're nowhere near at the top of the list of things to fix.

I hope you don't let your statement go to head it's inherently flawed in it's logic considering the fact the variety of the skills in the proffesion however useless, shallow or gimmicky makes them more than one-dimensional.
If the focal point of your statement, the thesis, is that assassin's are broken because of being one-dimensonal, than I do believe your incorrect.
