If there was a non-elite skill that had an RaO-like effect on minions only, then I'd totally couple AotL with it and do PvP. Otherwise, minions are pitiful in PvP. They're too slow, arbitrary, and unreliable. Sure it's something "different", but it's not. effective. at. ALL! If you don't care about anybody and want to annoy everyone in RA, driving them towards quitting this game, then use AotL with all superior runes, a +10e/+1 Death Magic Staff, and use Illusion of Weakness (see mesmer Inspiration Magic) to kill yourself after you've summoned your minions with Arcane Echo. You'll die off, and your minions will begin attacking your own team... for... the.. LOLOLOLZ! *Note* You will most likely get the dishonor hex VERY very fast! LOL But who cares, so long as you've successfully wasted their time and had a good laugh or two, or ten... thousand... million! OOLLOLOLLLOOOLOLOLOOO

MM is pretty bad, you are gonna need three beastly players to carry you to a long streak in RA..

everyone knows the reasons you'd rather have something else on your team in RA than a MM necro so i guess ill give you the few positive things it does that ive noticed even if they are barely significant.

1) if you get like 4 minions, rangers who tab + space are gonna get annoyed by continously tabbing to minions; slowly down their psn spreading... this is only for the bad players really, good players are barely affected if at all. This applies to c spacing warriors

2) minions tend to block chokepoints like bridges on that priest map pretty well somehow... but thats all they do no damage at all really. if you got a strong warrior on one side of that wall and ur monk on the other your monk is going to have time to cast and not worry about kiting away from melee.. assuming ur fighting at least 1 melee. This is pretty rare to be the deciding factor to make a winning game.

3) i was gonna try to think of a third decent reason but i cant... i was gonna say ur a tankbuild and necro exterior can trick people who never fight ur build into thinking ur a soft and easy target.. the longer it takes them to figure this out the better because they are wasting time but meh... that only works vs non-experienced players aka "noobs."

if you wanna run it go nuts, but dont expect to get friendly remarks about it; i run dumb stuff occasionally and get flamed but i know its coming and really dont care much when my goal is to win with something dumb and fun and makes it a challenge.. like lightning surge.

i suppose the whole point im trying to make is your build's optimal potential will only carry your team if the people you are fighting are 4/4 brand new players who might even consider you a threat... you can only beat noobs with it. In RA noobs are plentiful, learn to beat the good players and the rest will fall.

also someone let the cat out of the bag awhile ago and a bunch of monks run furious spear with bonettis now... if ur minions all gang up on him which he can force them to ur actually helping the other team more than your own and everyone will hate you including me.
