Hmm... what was the bug? It's obviously been fixed and I'm curious so it couldn't hurt right?

Also monking for bad teams sucks, they usually just tank damage and put so much pressure on you but the real issue is when they just can't kill anything.

After four to five minutes I just stop healing unless the opposition have more than one healer.

the number of times his/her glad points were multiplied by was too high and hence resulted in a glad rank several times higher than it should have been.

Gotta love red-bar monks. You are gimping yourself by removing every prot from your bar and still complain..

Nowhere, really. I just inferred it, and I don't regularly talk to anyone who gives enough of a shit about HA or titles to have told me I was wrong before now. 15 is a pretty arbitrary place to stop.

G6, but haven't played in about 18 months. It's not worth doing just for the title. For me it was just a time killer and to stay sharp between group pvp. It's good practice.

g0-g5 straight TA after factions released
g5-g6 over a couple years of occasional RA
g6-g7 in ta right before they removed it. As I've said before, I consider RA unplayable since they merged the districts, so 7 it will stay. No idea how much time I put in.

Proph era TA was the best. KD/AS lfg ;_;

edit: I'll confirm what Karla's saying about Squid's bugged g11 + Identity being the only other. There are a several euro g10s, a few americans, and a few asians.

Honestly you're not going to face huge spikes in RA, patient spirit+draw is enough to stop any spike imo. If your casters are just tanking damage then you're not going to go far anyway

Not to turn this into a thread on Guardian, but it has far more uses than catching spikes and reducing DPS on your casters. Two of the more important uses that are often neglected are allowing your warriors to Frenzy more and easing impact of rangers on your casters.

Monk efficiency has never just been about keeping people
alive.

I agree on your second point as it's incredibly frustrating when a ranger camps your mesmer and then you really wish that you brought guardian but something has to be sacrificed... I love guardian, I tried running it today in RA and whilst I was still able to get wins it was so much harder to keep people up against pressure builds thanks to the attribute spread.

The first however I find to not be too big of a deal as the biggest threats to frenzied warriors are midliners that can turn and do damage at a moments notice. Any warrior should be able to cancel out as soon as the frontliners start running towards him, now I realize your point is that warriors won't be able to frenzy as much therefore reducing their potential damage but If the enemy team is linebacking, they're probably taking alot of pressure to start with and this will make things alot easier for the rest of your team as they're not getting hit.

Don't get me wrong guardian is a great skill and I love the feeling you get when you land it right before the warrior uses eviscerate/devhammer but I just can't fit it on my bar without sacrificing condition or hex removals

Conditions, hexes, e-denial, high damage... Yea... Guardian can only do so much. In a perfect team, everybody would have their own block and condition removals. The monk should only have to redbar, remove hexes, and block up the yin yang! I usually bring skills like M.Touch (warrior or ranger), or Assassin's Remedy (assassin... dur), or Mirage Cloak. I also roll Riposte/Deadly Riposte/Bonetti's (necro) or Distortion (mesmer) to ward off peski meleers. I sometimes get the urge to punish nothing but melee, so I'll go Blinding Surge, Blinding Flash, Grasping Earth, and Distortion (ele) for the lulz because I want to annoy and hinder them as much as I maliciously possibly can!

G7 , about 500 from G8

Its all from RA, so it took about 3 years. Haven't played in 8 months, so I doubt I'll ever make G8.

G3 in a few months playing TA when bored. Still G3 (almost 4) from about the same time in RA... They just had to remove TA. Imo RA ain't worth it, but mainly for the flamers.
Just like 15 minutes ago some Warrior flamed me for being a terrible piece of shi../ noob monk. I was R/W with bowskills and rupts, he was offline and went on about 10 minutes, so annoying
