It would be nice to see falling lotus moved to critical strikes to finally end the BB combo, but what does it matter in the end? Sway with R/As will still be ran, IWAY will come back and hexway is the other main pug build. Still plenty of shitways to bitch about.

Soul Twisting: 30 sec recharge

Brutal Weapon: Ends after x amount of attacks, remove duration.

Nothing wrong with the dagger chains, though. Just need to wreck their defense and have the wars switch to linebacking. Trust, I'd rather get chain'd by a BBwar than knocklocked by a devhammer.

All they really need to do is maintain the str requirement for BB and put in a critical strikes req for the dagger chain

That's probably the best way to nerf the build yes.. by making either no energy gain from falling lotus or req 5 criticals. However , nerfing ST is needed aswell , but it would for sure make people turn to 3 r/a or assa 2 trappers expel and prisms.

Maybe I just haven't played any "good" bbsways, but the warrior chain doesn't seem like a problem to me. Half the time I don't even cancel frenzy when they start on me.

The teams I've played can neither kill nor stay up very long without spirits, which is why Soul Twisting is the biggest annoyance of the build if you don't have enough interrupts.

I think he meant way of the assassin sins with storm djinn's haste. IMS + IAS 1-2-3, 1-2-4 for massive damage.

Lol at least those sins can be properly killed if they become a big nuisance, theyre shit easy to play ye, and they do loldomages when left unchecked, but theyre not overly strong imo. Assault enchantments and coward are bigger probs imho. (am I the only one that hates coward with a passion?)

WotA sins are a problem because most prots in HA just spam LS and don't make good use of SB and SoA. I think there's also something to be said about a martial character doing around 100 DPS by face rolling, but again a lot of that damage can be neutralized with prots.

But you're right that coward and assault enchants are also pretty dumb.

A half decent Mesmer with diversion and a 40 40 set can easily neutralise and keep down 2 sins chains.

Use diversion vs sins well = gg

I often play sin myself, and vs a good Mesmer who watches the field with a brain your screwed .

jimmy1308 yeah thats a good plan it just has 2 problems, first: decent sin is always watching on mes to see when hes casting div on him, 2nd: if you gonna lock mesmers on enemy sins.. you will kill in...hmm actually you won't kill anything.

On my assassin, I simply use my chain out of order to remove diversions. Also, I usually camp mesmers so I'm watching everything they ever use on me. GG

Give Backbreaker like a 3s recharge time so it can't be charged by the dagger combo. Because really that is the most broken part about the build, that you can BB the target that stands up from the previous BB. And yes sure keeping Infuriating down helps, but it does get up sometimes because your midline has other things to worry about as well.

Other than that, the ST rit and Prism healers aren't much different compared to previous Sway backlines.

And, hi Lem.

There's nothing wrong with with BB chain or the prism healers, the build is so powerful because of the ST rit. Me, my other monk and my rit will easily keep us vs bbways for atleast 15 minutes.

But when i go on frontline, be it Assasin or Warrior, it is impossible to get an entire chain off with constant displacement, as most gimmick pugs don't take a reliable interrupter such as a PD mesmer, the spirits are up 24/7. This is because the rit has access to cheap (energy) and instant recasting spirits. Another advantage is that the spirits fuel the healing skills; spirit light, spirit transfer and MBaS. As killing spirits is a good way to tackle prism healers, the instant recharging spammable spirits ensure the prism healers can redbar indefinitely.

Sorry for the text-wall, but complaining about nerfing backbreaker and ether prism is just pointless, the warriors can be replaced, as can the healers (rt/a OoS healers with dark escape/return)

What would the alternatives to BB warriors be? Sins don't really have any good chains unless you call mindless Jagged/Fox Fangs spam a chain. Suppose we could go back to R/A Sway, maybe.

There's still assault rangers / sins.

The easiest fix for the BB dagger warrior would be moving falling lotus to critical strikes. About the rit, you have to wonder why soul twisting exist as is for PvP and whether it's high time brutal weapon got the same treatment SoH did.
