anyone got a good water ele pvp build for AB and GvG? i only have factions soim limited to those skills. if anyone could help would be greatly appreciated
this is my current skill build
aura of resto, elemental attunement, ice spear, vapor blade, icy prism, blurred vision, ice spikes, and mesmer my secondary so i grabbed energy tap for my last one i can change my secondary to whatever tho

and i plan on switching ice spear for shatterstone or mirror of ice and replacing ele attunment with water attunment

Hard to make a build for GvG when you're missing three campaigns.

Water Attunement, Shatterstone, GoLE, Weapon of Warding/Enchantment Removal from the Necromancer line, Blurred Vision, Vapor Blade, Ice Spikes, Optional?

You can't play water ele properly without Nightfall, at a minimum. Freezing Gust is really required.

Agreed, but TS is playing GvG with only one campaign, so I don't believe they're in the top 500, heh.

Well, you -could- hypothetically play shockaxe dchop for your entire career and not miss out on too much.

I really think that sucks though. I remember when the GW concept was supposed to be that one could remain competitive in PvP without buying every expansion. Also too bad the PvP pack came out way to late to accommodate PvP-only players.

There's the one build you can play in PvP without NF or EoTN and not be gimped somehow.

Body blow is 160 (6.4 strikes of) adrenaline less than executioner's which is 200 (full 8 strikes). The 7 -> 8 strikes of adren is a pretty large difference. Body blow really is better for that bar.

But even then, having to limit yourself to only one bar and only one role in pvp because of expansions is rather unsatisfying.

air ele's can destroy people in RA and stuff ive been running this build mostly

Lightning strike, shock arrow, enervating charge, lightning orb, *lightning surge*, blinding flash, aura of resto, and air attunement
sometimes ill switch out shock arrow for a remove hex tho for those pesky little mesmers that use backfire and that stupid casting time slow thing
btw this build can destroy sins easily went 1v1 to a sin in my guild and he did like 50dmg to me before he died becuase of blinding flash lol

once you get all ur unlocks,

fire=searing flames(no gvg), searing heat(no gvg), mind blast

air=mind shock, blinding surge

earth=unsteady ground, stoning spammer(RA only)

water=generic water ele with various elites

pvxwiki.com has all of this

looks like you got a pretty decent build considering you only have 1 campaign

i guess lightning surge has pretty good dps 0.o but i would bring mind shock

considering your using body blow after evis it really doesnt matter most of the time

especially at this level
