Default Codex arena question

Whenever, I am in the codex arena queue zone it seems like there is barely anyone there. Does anyone actually play codex arena?

I was interested in getting a team together to grind out R3 codex title, but now it seems like that might not even be possible.

If I got a few people together to play codex, when would be the best time of the week to play? How long would the queue times be? Would I face the same team over and over again?

Thanks guys

Your only chance to actually play would be on zaishen quest days, shortly after a periodic reset. Any other time you aren't going to get in without syncing.

Even on Z day it's hardly fit to burst.
Codex was broken from day one.
Sad but true.

If you play to get r3 title , you should either sync either not bother with it . Best time to play in my opinion is euro evening on quest day , else it's quite pointless and you will either face the same team , either not get ny opponent....

It's pretty hard not to see the population issues across the board. Other formats are either dead or have far more issues than they've had before, from the population point of view.

What is ANET's stance on syncing? Do they punish people who abuse it for titles?

And so we are clear, by syncing i am referring to playing against a team of guild mates and having them resign over and over.

Officially, it's a bannable offense. Realistically, even if someone has damning evidence, NCSoft won't give one shit.

Yes , but it's not really the same syncing as in RA. You know , in RA , syncing there means abusing random teams and getting " easily " more consecs...

In Codex ( and GvG too ) people usually sync when there is noone playing at all . Furthermore , they don't annoy anyone by syncing , since they don't make any team lose unfairly.....

Also , if they did ban for syncing in codex , they would obviously have to rework the format , and i'm pretty sure they don't want to. That's why imo , syncing in Codex won't make you banned...
