Who remembers when there was tomb of primeval king instead of heroes ascent? And anyone still remember that there used to not be any Balthazar faction?

I remember dominating Yak's Bend arena(lvl 10-15). Then I remember reaching the next arena(amnoon oasis? lvl 15-20), got my ass handed to me and lost all taste for pvp for a year or two.

All of that happened like...a year ago in the OP.

Remember that monk strike in Thunderhead Keep, back when everyone thought it was like nearly impossible?

Remember when 100k was A LOT of money, back when Sorrow's Furnace opened up?

Remember boon prot monks, with either MoR or Edrain as the elite, shock axe warriors, duo ranger midlines with melandrus arrows and crip shot, and ether prodigy ele flaggers?

Remember the Factions world championship finals between IQ and WM, where IQ decided that the best strategy in the final game of the series was an immediate gank with 4 bunny thumpers and smiters (IIRC)? Orrrrr when IQ pretty much sparked the beginning of the end of GvG by camping in their lord room against EviL on the Isle of the Dead in the Factions World Championships and then proceeding to glyph of sac - meteor shower their way to victory once VoD hit and the lord walked?

Yeah, back when the game was good.

I remember when HoH was only KoTH and player would jump from UW(or zaishen way back in the days) with super defensive builds holding 24/7 and eventually got rank15
I remembered playing 6v6 HAing with real life friends team.
I remembered when pve used to teach PvP mechanics.
I remembered getting kicked from a rank3 iway guild because I was unranked.
I remembered that every era of gw pvp had some super gimmick shiets.

Wasn't that long ago compared to some stuff. but i remember thinking i was boss with a BoA shadow sin in it's first incarnation.

Getting very confused/annoyed when i faced my first well executed recall split in gvg.

Obsing top GvG where most teams were 8 necro hexover/minion armies, with just a sea of blue/red dots everywhere. Then thinking it was awesome.

Quite recent but hilarious, the doomspike bug with shadowalk.

I remember when one of best farming place was elona reach (also remember it as an hard mission)
I remember when Victo's Bulwark was worth over 100k.
I remember when everyone had many Althea's ashes to sell.
I remember winning halls 6 times consec with 5 heroes at 6v6 time.
I remember some fun maps such as broken tower.
I remember being able to actually play something else than RA in PvP on american evening/euro morning.

So now , we've got bunch of perma sins having stacks of ectos and 3/4 of the day inactive in PvP. Great

PvP where do I begin?

Zealous Benediction was OP due to it's practically a free heal with 10 energy return.
Pre-nerf EoE ruled HA and AB. Seeing 24 people die as soon as they spawn was lolwut. Plus with EoE, suicide was the way to win in HA.
Ritspike... so freaking powerful.
Spiritway changed Soul Reaping to not gain energy from dead spirits.
Lets not forget the infamous Dark Aura spike, 7500 damage in a single second.
I can't remember the build name, but it involved rushing the GL with 7 warriors with 8 pets, cast a bunch of hexes on the GL and cyclone axe would kill him. Entire matches would last 2 minutes at most.
Discord Spike. Yeah, Discord was usable in PvP.
Smiteway, use Smiters Boon + Ray of Judgement = lol damage and healing.
Shove Spike, serious lol action there. Shadowstep, shove, BOOM, shadowstep away.
Tease heroes, Gwen was soooooo OP.
