A friend and I used to run FC mes in AB all the time back when Ele Attunement was 45 sec duration always. We never did FC Earth. This was pretty fun, even if it did totally crumble against a dom mes pretty easily. Still, it was funny to see your target sit on his butt for a good while, especially if Stoning recharges faster, the melee weren't much of a bother either. It's really those dang mesmers.

sever, gash, final thrust, enraging charge, bull's charge, frenzy, savage slash, resurrection signet.

Run 14 sword and 14 strength. 14 strength for the extra adren on enraging (you should totally run 14 strength on that hammer bar above too for the same reason. if not 13 hammer/14 str, be a man and run 14/14).

You'll be surprised how often you can kd the same person in a row with the same activation of bull's charge... or how often you can do it to two people at the same time. Also, savage slash and final thrust on the same bar is so deadly, there's actually legislation being drafted to outright ban it.

Fun build, never runs out of energy, bllinds like the best of them, and draw is awesome support. Need a +20 enchant staff and a 40/40. Just remember to cancelcast when you're up against rangers and it's wise not to get quartered, that's where the KD comes in.

Most people have never seen if before, so you right in their face, so right in their face, they kite NOPE.

On reevaluation I think Bull's Charge is nice enough that we should make a push for bringing it back into the meta -- it's a good counter to the ridiculous amount of kiting commonly seen these days, many people have never seen it before and you can push out a lot of knockdowns with huge IMS, plus there's no manlier frenzy cancel.

This is a new build I made up with some extra Balthazar faction a few days ago, and it seems to work extremely well. I didn't want to put it on PvX for fear of loosing rights to it, so here I am.

I haven't seen another build that uses "Master of Magic" like this one, so please, no flaming until you really look at it. It may seem a bit crazy, but I've successfully taken down almost every profession in about 2 - 3 runs of this bar. Let me know what you think!

It uses a Q9 Energy Storage Wand and Offhand, Inscriptions don't matter but I prefer to use a 20/20 set, (10% Recharge on each) as most skills that you use are unrelated to energy storage.

[EDIT] Due to a very Rudely worded, yet helpful suggestion, I'm trying a 40/40 Earth Set to go with the 20/20.

See, the beauty of this build is that slot number 8 can be any skill from any profession with a full 12 points in it. All you need to run this build is 12 points in energy storage, and that's it!

Think of the opportunities!

Personally, I use E/Rt as a profession with Earthbind(PvP) in the optional. The extra 2 second knockdown makes a big difference. Also, Yes, Earthbind and other skills end master of magic, so you are restricted to a skill that you can use before casting MoM. Like Earthbind(PvP)

I Just made this build a little while ago, so I'm looking forward to some nice "Constructive Criticism". Not just plain flaming.

Although, the extra 40/40 Earth is a pretty good Idea. Thanks!

Also, Slot 8 Is optional from anything such as Res sig to A non res sig skill, Your choice. That's why it's optional. Normal knockdown lasts two seconds yes, but in some cases it is too short to get Aftershock off (For Whatever Reason)

Lack of a res signet in RA is stupid. I'm not going to elaborate further.

Your weapon set is terrible. For a build like that, 40/40 earth, 20% enchant earth staff, shield set would be far more appropriate, and that still gives you a spot to play with.

The build is terrible. A modicum of success in RA does not automatically make a build good. I can probably dig up a screen of 10 RA wins with frenzy and no other skills on my bar.

Okay, see, this is what I was looking for. Now I think replacing Glyph of restoration and Adding a res signet should be pretty easy. But I'm not really sold on how terrible Shock/Ashock are, as I have gotten many easy Kills with them alone. But The Necro and Mesmer Enchant Removal.... Oooh.

Any way around that? I know most Enchant removals take the top Ench off, so Can't I cover it with another ench and leave MoM? (By the way the purpose of that is to give 12 in everything.)

Your build does a mediocre amount of damage, with some mediocre KD thrown in. It's also incredibly easy to shut down. Part of this lies with the fact that you are not particularly good at build making, part of it in that earth magic is just mostly bad in RA.

However, if you want something to similar effect, while being less overall bad I would suggest a mind shock bar.

Mind Shock
Blinding Flash
Aura of Restoration
Air Attunement
Res Sig

Last three are somewhat flexible. Orb/Bolt/Shellshock/Chain lightning for moar pewpew. Take at least one of those. Shock arrow for pewpew and energy. Strip or rip enchant. Enfeeble. Resto weapons. Enervating charge. Dshot. Return. Bonetti's. Power spike/drain. Leech signet. Gale. Augury/DDagger. Chest thumper.

Make sure to take a high air set in addition to the rest to proc mindshock on other eles/when you're exhausted.

The optionals are extremely flexible. That bar does basically the same as your above baed bar, but it does it while having an assload of utility to boot and being a lot more difficult to shut down. Exhaustion shouldn't be a major issue, because if your RA matches go longer than a few minutes then someone's doin it wrong.

Tried this build a long time ago, pretty effective if timed right.
[Earth attunement][shock][aftershock] [shockwave][augury of death] [death's charge] [grasping earth][rez sig]

I prefer this on the ele though, usually catches monk off guard the first time since there isn't much visible clue to your tactics (no glyph of ele power)-

[fire attunement] [meteor][shadow walk][inferno][fire burst][star burst] [immolate] [ressurection signet]
tend to use this build for fun, some people like double dragon, phoenix. w/e. It's a nice spike when doing in conjunction w/ melee.

This IS Actually Sort of a joke post, I wanted to see how a build would do based off MoM. As this was really my first build attempt, it predictably crashed and burned. Ah well.

So yes to all the above, 8 Should be a res skill. This is a silly build. When timed right it works well. And can be used to annoy your team by not having a res skill.

Ah well, thanks for the feedback, and little flaming.

Conceptually it's not much different than the Lyssa's Aura stoning spammer that's already pretty common, but it's not nearly as good. MoM is one of those skills that looks like it should have some sort of viable build but the pieces never add up to much.
