Most monks cast between interrupts (while you have aftercast) so unless your team has a shitload of pressure (in which case you'll win if you're a half decent ranger) you won't interrupt much.

Dazed (BHA) is no less gimmicky than multiple interrupts. Daze isn't that great of a condition to begin with. Sure it will roll over bad players, but even mediocre players know how to deal with it. Especially with more off-monk condition removal (even in RA).

New Build I found when just messing around -

Warrior/Dervish

10 Strength
12 Axe Mastery
8 Wind Prayers

Frenzy
Dismember
Agonizing Chop
Disrupting Chop
Lion's Comfort
Rush
Grenth's Grasp
Resurrection Signet

Spam Agonizing and D-chop on a crippled target. Low(er) damage, low needed level of skill, but still a valid pressure build imo.

Also an old build that I threw together a while ago -

Paragon/Any

12 Leadership
12 Spear Mastery

Anthem of Flame
Barbed Spear
Maiming Spear
Stunning Strike
Merciless Spear
Spear Swipe
Aggressive Refrain
Resurrection Signet

This build can maintain daze on a target while doing viable damage. No heals though, Leader's Comfort is a joke.

This BHA kept running up to me with the preparation which makes them fire arrows faster. I kept twitching it with disciplined but 3/7 times it went through >.<.

Though BHA would be a prime candidate for cancelling midcast i'd have thought (if you have the energy).

Don't need surge AND flash, need a 40/40 set and then you'll fee up a skill slot for aura of resto, which is a must as cover enchant really. There's no way you can spam blind all the time w/o attunement.

Axe Rake is random, I'd put Executioner's Strike in there tbh.

You could, but imo Axe Rake makes it easier to pull of Bull's Strike and also allows you to increase your hitting rate, because you're not chasing them down anymore.

Can someone provide me with a decent Mo/any build? I'm not new to RA but lets say I'm not a pro either therefore I'm looking for something reliable, which is fairly up-to-date (considering I haven't played since November 2008, don't ask me why).. W
eapon sets are highly appreciated as well.. Thanks in Advance

The build isn't about Damage, it's about spamming interrupts quickly on a slowed target. As for the low Strength, Wind Prayers had to be high so Onslaught could be maintainable. Bull's Strike is there for the KD and Shield Bash still lasts 7 seconds with 4 Strength.

Strength sucks. I'd run it at 8+1 for shield at least though.

Reviving a classic ~

Blindbot Mesmer (lame). I had a really good success rate with this build during the event.

Sig of Midnight
Plague Sending
Diversion
Shame
Backfire
Rip Enchant/Drain Enchant
Mantra of Resolve
Res Sig

Attribs are something like 14 dom 10 fc 9 insp 5 curse.

The idea is you can be anti melee and anti caster at the same time. Blind physicals, debuff with drain, backfire casters (try to cover with diversion if need be), shame/div spam healers and divert keys skills.

Mantra is the new addition to the old build to avoid interrupts because of the longer cast on SoM. One counter to SoM are kd's, many of which are faster than SoM such as: IAS'd hammer KDs, Shock, Wastrels collapse etc.

You can counter these. Cancel sig activation on touch range kd's to avoid 10 sec recharge, and blind when you're back on your feet.

Wastrel's could be a problem.. no way of telling really accept maybe on the second activation :| take the recharge into consideration and spam cancel your sig to avoid kd activation (worth a try).

Hammer kds shouldn't be a problem with good positioning/blind sending.

All types of kd's should be avoidable if you have a good vision of the game.

FF isn't much of a problem since it removes twice in 10 seconds and you can apply blind twice every 10 seconds. I played against many ff's and could still keep 1 frontliner perma blind (you need to keep a good eye on the ff). Heavy cond removal would be the main counter i.e ff AND draw/dismiss monk or flesh wound para and any type of disable skills.

Works a treat if you play it right, its all down to how good you play it (obviously) which applies for most builds.

Blindbot Mes in NOT dead if you're strong xD.

First GG, then Axe Rake. Wouldn't it make more sense to just run Cripslash and actually have some damage tacked on that Bull's?

I've been using a simimlar build:

Sig of Midnight
Plague Sending
Diversion
Shame
Empathy
Drain Enchant
Ether Feast
Res Sig

FC 14, Dom 11, Insp 10, Curse 4

Interrupts can be a problem, but most usually leave you alone when they see you casting nice and fast. Also it helps to be unpredictable with the SoM usage. If you run up to an interupt ranger he will distract you but it you run up and wait for the rupt, you are then free to use SoM.
The self healing helps a lot when there is no monk, I have had a couple 10 win streaks with this and no monk.
