well in fact, the issues I had with bha is that I didn't fire fast enough to interrupt everything I wanted, and some 1/4 skills could still be cast :/

it would help more to have a melee to pressure the dazed target, but that you don't get it all the time

Run daggers only. Weapon swap with such profession unloading such attack chain....is not a good idea.

Anyways....

Ranger´s role is to put pressure on enemies. Your build puts pressure on enemies. Perhaps I´ve missed something. Too much metagame fijation?

I've kinda been experimenting with a signet mes too.

Needs more cowbell. Basically spam nightmare all around, toss out some cracked armor with shrinking armor or to to cover....good times. I'm surprised how annoying the judgment kd's are with the reduced recharge.

I've been wondering with these smiting builds if [scourge healing] is a terrible skill, anyone run it?

Scourge would be good if it affected all healing cast by and enemy, then you could cast on the monk. As it is you have to cast it on all the enemy team. On a side note, do DF heals trigger scourge?

Pretty much everyone on PvX are either PvE players who don't know what they're talking about when it comes to PvP, or min-maxers who are going to thumbs-down anything that isn't established and generally perfect at what it does.

It's not really that good. You basically have to saturate it all over the place to get any effect when you could just be doing things directly to the monk. It's mainly for punching party heals in the face in more populated formats. (And even there it doesn't work on Paragon party heals so who gives a shit)

No. The only things that trigger it are skills that basically say "you heal ____ for ____". Heals that don't go directly to the target (i.e. Paragon party heals, Patient Spirit) are not affected, and DF is specifically excluded.

30 seconds seems like a long time to wait with no pressure to speak of and a less capable chain than the original expose/SP

Black spider strike must strike a hexed foe, you only have one hex with a 30 second recharge.

If you want to do daggers with a 75% block and speed boost, studies show [critical defenses] + [rush] + [malicious strike] or [critical strike] is good.

Here's another fun sin build:

10 Wind Prayers

Use it like a wounding spiker, but with a knock down and poison.

Those 2 critical skills are the whole point of the build. If you aren't going to take WotM, you might as well run a normal Dervish.

Empathy seems like a total waste of space on that bar.

In general it's just not a great skill, and when you have omega blind spam already I don't think it's worth a slot. Take another signet instead, Humility for example, to compliment the use of Inscriptions, or some e-management to make more use of your inspiration spec.

Agreed, but empathy is more amusing. Locking down an RA monk is easy enough with just shame and diversion.

Possibly a water set

Instructions:

Cast icy shackles, do black mantis combo. Keep up conjure frost to fulfill the deep wound on golden fang and do extra damage. If you get hexed out, switch to shield set or water set and at least snare people with icy shackles while you wait.

Eh...don't really play Mesmer but I got a couple of 10 win streaks with this:

You can keep a Rit/Monk down while lightly owning a war etc. It's not perfect or UBER but its annoying.

I got about three e-denial mesmers myself.

[ether lord][ether phantom][drain delusions][feedback][ether feast][energy drain][arcane echo][resurrection signet]
This is better than the second one, because it's better e-denial, but the other one has better healing and is just more fun to play with, since any casters get no energy regen (bonders have -4 degen XD) and anything else will have -1 energy degen or less

Basically, to use this, Arcane Echo => Ether Feast. This gives you 300 healing every 8 seconds. Also adds better e-denial. That's 6 energy, take Ether Phantom => Drain Delusions, which is about 8 energy gone. Wait until Energy Drain is charged, then Ether Lord => Energy Drain. This usually puts any caster at half energy, considering he's used no spells. Then he's at 1/4 On average. Another way for good energy return and good denial is Arcane Echo => Ether Lord then Ether Lord someone else. If you don't get Ether Lord removed too fast, you get 30+ energy in 10 seconds, along with having 18 more energy from Energy Drain

I just felt like making a SoL build. Anyways, this gives 0 energy regen to all casters and anything below that is funny. SoL on Malaise and hexer's vigor is a MUST. I know HV and SoL isn't a good combo, but eh. So use Ether Phantom, Malaise, Conjure Phantasm, Ether Lord, then IMMEDIATELTY Ether Signet. Since the lower your Inspiration Magic, the low the time you have to gain 20 energy back. (20 energy because of affect and the regen)

[signet of illusions][wastrel's demise][soul barbs][wastrel's worry][diversion][shatter delusions][complicate][resurrection signet]
This one is funny because it damages casters. Wastrel's Demise works well after using it on a monk or an ele as soon as they cast a spell. Barbs is fun The reason Shatter Delusions is here, since some people know not to use a skill with Diversion on them, you can do Shatter Delusions right before it runs out if they choose not to use a skill in that time. Also, for more damage, Barbs -> Diversion -> Wastrel's Worry -> Shatter Delusions at 5 seconds.

Haven't seen this yet. Actually a quite fun build. It's like SP, without the fast spike/shadowstep. But just moar snare. And tbh, I'd take out the res sig for a finishing dual. :/ Falling Spider without another is just no. >.<

A good hex necro can seriously ruin your teams chances at ever winning a game. You definitely need both of the hex removals.

I'm also running that monk build right now, switching out Shield Bash for Sig of Rejuv and Return every now and then. I like to use Draw Conditions for the simple fact I can remove that Warriors entire stack so he can finish off his target.
