Dshot and bring a bow as a secondary switch. Good times. It's pretty awkward to use, but dshot is just so much fun and has so many versatile uses, along with being very fun to play.

No they don't, TA yes - RA no.

75% of the teams there don't kite, i don't know how many times I've screamed at a caster standing there while getting d-slashed - i put guardian on him but still.... One time when i was monking i saw a necro cast vampiric spirit and called it, i said pick another target. Instead they start attacking the necro while the ele happily casts Savannah heat on my teammates and starts using AOE skills >.<

I then spend 10 minutes trying to tell them why balling up is a bad idea...

Actually they do. Unless you're a total idiot, when you see someone in your face making your red bar go down you move. 75% is a huge exaggeration.

It differs between American and International Districts. Competition is stronger in International and that's where I play.

I agree that it's a big exaggeration in either case. Lots of players may have weak builds, play poorly, and not understand how to execute a strategy if you try and tell them, but most everyone has the basic understanding to realize that they need to run when something is beating on them.

The way that I look at it, the goal in RA is to get 10 wins and you're almost always going to fight a team with a decent/good Monk and decent/good offense in at least one of those matches. Build to beat those teams.

well maybe it was an exaggeration but alot of the people there do not kite, thankfully most of them start doing it once i tell them that they aren't kiting.

I thought so at first, also. But it's great for that initial KD, for chains, for linebacking, for snare when adren is low, and for those botched cowards. If you're gonna go for KD pressure, then bull's is your best friend imo.

@_@ why wouldn't you take shock? Taking 2 KDs that are conditional and require the same condition seems like a bad idea.

If you want some RA fun before the nerf stick descends upon Dervishes, try this:

[skill]Ride the Lightning[/skill][skill]Chilling Victory[/skill][skill]Pious Assault[/skill][skill]Eremite's Attack[/skill][skill]Attacker's Insight[/skill][Grenth's Aura][skill]Conjure Lightning[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

Survivor Insignia,
Superior Vigor,
Minor or Superior Scythe Mastery if you're brave [13 or 15 Scythe Mastery],
Minor Wind Prayers [7 Wind Prayers]
Minor Mysticism [9 Mysticism].
10 Air Magic.

It's the insta-kill button for spellcasters. Screw positioning, screw Spirit Bond, screw Prot Spirit, screw Guardian. Just don't spam Ride the Lightning too much for obvious reasons.

Bye-bye bad monks and casters...

Vamp assault could be any dual really, ie: Nine Tail or DB

but this gives you armor ignoring damage and with high deadly arts deals a nice amount of lifestealing... you don't really want to swap that for a low damage skill!

[skill]Wail of Doom[/skill][skill]Faintheartedness[/skill][skill]Price of Failure[/skill][skill]Reckless Haste[/skill][skill]Signet of Lost Souls[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
Then Foul Feast, Defile Defenses, Para Bond, or something filler.

12+1+1 SR
12+1 Curses

Basically eliminates all threat from an enemy spike, and can also provide a good assist.

You need Arcane Echo to get maximum spammage out of Wail. Rip Enchantment is pretty imba too.

I have been using this hammerbuild since the update, and was wondering if anyone could make it more effective?

It goes like:
Attrib:
Strength: 12+1
Hammer Mastery: 14+1+1

[skill]Lion's Comfort[/skill][skill]Enraging Charge[/skill][skill]Flail[/skill][skill]"For Great Justice!"[/skill][skill]Magehunter's Smash[/skill][skill]Crushing Blow[/skill][skill]Mighty Blow[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

EDIT: Why cant it show FGJ?

Mokone Edit: you forgot to add "!".

Ahh, okay. Thanks

1 kd and 3 skills that gain adre is just stupid.

Maybe drop fgj and take hammer bash/bull strike or smthing.

How about changeing mighty blow with [skill]Staggering Blow[/skill] and then change fgj with [skill]Heavy Blow[/skill] ?
Or would it be smarter just to go Devastating?

There's no reason to use either Devastating Blow or Heavy Blow, really. If you want another knockdown, use Hammer Bash.
