Heh I got 97 glad points so far just running a fast cast WoH healbot (600 pts. now! Almost R4!). Here's the updated build:

Mesmer Healbot

Fast Cast: 10(+2)
Prot: 8
Healing: 12
Inspiration: 9(+1)

Equipment: Shield Set, Offhand Set, 40/40 Cast Time Set

Skills:

Signet of Rejuvenation
Word of Healing (Elite)
Patient Spirit
Protective Spirit
Dismiss Conditon
Cure Hex
Heal Party
Auspicious Incantation

This build can pump a huge number of high powered heals into the party insanely fast. WoH is so fast you can pretty much infuse with it. Patient Spirit really is a just a big spammable heal that you should use when anticipating damage on a party member, it also is great for powering dervishes via mysticism. Signet of Rejuvenation is what I use to top off bars and save me time as I get to them with WoH. Cure Hex and Dismiss are pretty much self explanitory. You want a 40/40 set to switch off to, because you manage energy by casting auspicious incantation and then heal party to net a massive energy return. I run a shield set with this build and rarely get pulled off of it. Because patient spirit is so fast, you can pre-prot yourself with prot spirit and spam patient on yourself to keep yourself alive through spikes and melee pressure.

The cast time on many of these spells makes you pretty hard to interrupt. Even heal party casts in little over 1.10 seconds. However, antispam skills like diversion or signet of humility can still give you problems. Because all of your healing skills are relatively cheap and signet of rejuvenation is free (and casts pretty quick thanks to the fast casting bonus for signets), this build is very energy efficient under pressure.

The downside to this build is a lack of a good block skill. You really need to rely on good kiting to minimize damage, but if you really need it, you can substitute patient spirit for a 5 second guardian. However, this will reduce your healing potential.

Eitherway, having a fast cast WoH is pretty sweet and you will find yourself saving people left and right from near death while still pumping a massive amount of raw HP into the party. On numerous occasions I've been about to out monk Mo/X primaries with this build. It also works in PvE as well.

used it as well, pretty nice actually
used spirit bond instead of prot spirit and spotless soul instead of dismiss

edit: spotless soul didn't work out that well ..

When I'm not running old school hammer bars, I'm running that. Quarter-knock is just ftw.
yea that IS an okay bar if you don't get your devastating hammer d-chopped. that was hilarious. I stick with old school schock axe. And how can a mesmer healer even be worth trying you have no prot other than a prot spirit and no divine favor bonus. Most monks spells are too quick to catch anyway and you are losing the divine favor bonus. You also have no energy management other tha AP which you can only really use to pump out heal parties, which should be interrupted and overall not needed in RA anyway. A mesmer can do so much more so much better. Leave monking to monks and learn to play that class competently as it was meant to be played.

However, those sets are pretty bad. I'd definitely go with:
Shield + weapon
+5e bow
40%/20% prot staff of enchanting
+30/-2 high energy

Considering that you're down a set, you're probably going to have to forgo the normal 40/40 set for spamming ZB under pressure, so you're going to have to use your prot staff for that. But you definitely need at least one efficiency set, either a 40/40 or a 40/20 staff of enchanting, for spamming ZB and helping out your prots.
meh monking with anything other than a hammer in RA is just baed. xD

Drop Enraging Charge for Healing Signet and you are ready to stay alive in RA where Monks can not be guaranteed. You have to drop a bit of Strength and have very little Air but it is miles better for sustainability unless you are practicing survivability without a heal

I would rather keep Enraging (or replace it with DChop) and do better on a team WITH a monk.

Me/N
Illusion 12+1+1
Fastcasting 12(+1?)

Signet of Illusions
Faintheartedness
Insidious Parasite
Backfire
Shame
Conjure Nightmare
Auspicious Incantation
Resurrection Signet

Or similar. Basically pack in some anti melee, some anti caster, have fun. Spread degen, help spike monk with Shame, discourage casting with Backfire. Synergy is bad between Insidious and Faintheartedness, but you can put them on different foes, and insidious is pretty handy.

Other fun skills are Reckless Haste, Rising Bile, Empathy etc. the above version lacks in cover hexing, you can take Parasitic Bond if you want a cheap cover hex; the joy is in simply dipping for whatever you feel you would like. Been having fun getting glad points with various SoI mesmers for kicks.

yeah right, cos it takes a genius to interrupt a 1 sec ZB or a 3/4 sec WoH cast... these are your money spells and in RA often you rely on them to keep up your retarded team mates who don't know how to mitigate damage... not to mention other money 1 sec casts, guardian comes to mind.

ZB is 3/4. With good positioning you can avoid getting a 3/4 cast easily dshotted.

lol there is no 'good positioning' in RA, melees always overextend massively and u have to get into the danger zone if you're going to heal them... besides, interrupters will just come and camp you anyway, it's not like your melees are going to collapse on them or anything, they'll just keep chasing that healer like headless chickens ;p

"overextending" doesn't really exist in RA (unless someone runs off and one of your players chases that person)

Position yourself better in respect to your team. It's pretty easy to find walls to hide behind on most maps while having good position with respect to your team.

-Axe/Sword/Spear with +5 Energy and +30 Health,
-Shield with +30 Health and various +10 Armour mods.

This is a pretty bog-standard ZB build although not many people take advantage of Divine Spirit as a 'Get out of jail free' card. Divine Spirit allows you to spam those 5 Energy spells for 1 energy and the relief will grant you a net gain of Energy. While Divine Spirit is recharging, Glyph of Lesser Energy can help with Spirit Bond an Zealous Benediction.

Benefits:
-Plenty of Energy management,
-Deny Hexes keeps your physicals clean of debilitating hexes moreso while Divine Spirit is recharging,
-Spirit Bond keeps your squishies safe from Scythes and Hammers.

Vulnerabilities:
-Dazed is hard to clean off,
-Enchantment-hate,
-Block-ignoring skills (nerf Magebane please).

This seems to get me plenty of Glad points and Faction providing my team doesn't consist of Monks with no secondary and Healing Breeze, Wammos, Power Shot Rangers and Stone Dagger spamming ele tanks.
Well, not a bad buildm but after reading some feedbacks of your build, I made this new one, based on Divine Spirit

[skill]Zealous Benediction[/skill][skill]Guardian[/skill][skill]Dismiss Condition[/skill][skill]Spirit Bond[/skill][skill]Reversal Of Fortune[/skill][skill]Deny Hexes[/skill][skill] Glyph Of Switness[/skill][skill]Divine Spirit[/skill]

This builds worked well for me when I tested it. The combo Switness+Divine was good. You are almost a fkin unlimited..

I've been doing a frustration/blinding mesmer. It's surprisingly fun.

Frustration
Power Spike
Power Return
Signet of Disruption
Signet of Midnight (elite)
Plague Touch
Rend Enchantments
Res Sig

Domination 9+1
Illusion 10+1+1
Fast Cast 9+1
Curses 8

Not sure on the attributes though...

12 Earth

Barbed Spear
Spear of Redemption
Distracting Throw
Blazing Spear
Ebon Dust Aura
Vital Boon
Signet of Pious Light
Ressurection Signet

Fun and amusing blind build for RA. It actually works decently well and can keep perma blind on 2 chars easily. Maintaining it on more requires a ton of tabbing but is possible. Feel free to ditch Vital Boon + Signet for offensive skills.

The only time healsig is remotely decent is when you aren't getting drilled by damage. How often does that happen in RA? Not very often. The only time I can think of off the top of my head where healsig is okay is against degen hexes. In that case, you are probably screwed anyway because if they have a brain in their head they also brought anti-melee hexes. Natural Healing or Pious Restoration are both way better options if you are willing to sacrifice your secondary.

I never bring a heal and I'm perfectly fine.

I've been using a superior rune in RA lately... After reading a post on TeamQQ about how Chop Chop (from rawr) apparently used a superior when he was using conjure, because he couldn't do sneaky hits under Spirit Bond with conjure, so he figures the more damage the better.

Stats are:

16 axe
10 water
9 Strength

Good for taking down warriors actually, because you deal lots of elemental damage, usually you can bulls a warrior running up at the start of a game, frenzy, then use coward when he takes of again. It's fun.
