Augury of Death is pretty nice, always love a Deep Wound. Dancing Daggers? Sure ok, it goes through Blind and Guardian which seems a bit weird but it's hardly overpowered...

Why SoJ? Like... I was sat there for a few seconds thinking... why the hell does this assassin keep using SoJ seemingly at random on me, for very little damage?
The version with Iron Palm has 3 chained KD's in it and spikes for like 400+DW. it kinda owns RA.

Easy to kill, they have no self heal, I hit them a couple of times with Burning Arrow -> with poison applied and gg.

A lot of warriors in RA don't have bull's though.

Still, who cares if your balanced stance is useless vs other builds? If you're not getting kded in RA, chances are you're not going to die anyway. Might as well take it for one of the few ways you can die in RA.

Balanced stance is very useful, Thumpers, Shock, SoJ, Sin knockdowns, Gale, Pet attacks, Lightning surge, Wanderlust, Meteor, and these are just the day to day things let alone the crazy stuff.

You also don't suffer any extra dmg from crit hits ^^.

Which brings me to a serious question - Does balanced stance negate the critical from skills like decapitate or critical strike? Or, would it perhaps make the skill explode and be rendered unusable for the duration of the match?

Just take bull's strike. it gives you 3 seconds of knockdown (stonefist), +dmg, and leaves the rest of the team witout healers for more than 5 seconds considering most of RA monks prot themselves to deaths after that.

I think that it negates it. Don't quote me on it though.

You only need 2 defensive skills on your bar if you're bad.

Very one-dimensional. Glowing Gaze isn't needed either. IMO, this is the best Fire Elem bar for RA:

Blinding Flash
Mind Blast
Immolate
Rodgort's Invocation
Healing Breeze
Flame Djinn's Haste
Fire Attunement
Rez Sig

15 Fire, 9 Energy Storage, 8 Air, 8 Healing. That build supports the team and keeps you alive in addition to doing damage.
