You can bet that will be taken care off in soon to come AI "update".

Anet's actions prove they are determined to stop mass farming and they will prolly succeed some day in the not to distant future.

Wait you said that it doesnt work on melee units because they scatter right? Couldnt it work in shiroken farm if you replaced it with one of the visages since technically you arent attacking and letting them attack themselves? im not sure if your build would work against the 4 groups outside of unwaking waters, but its starting to give me a beam of hope =)

"now you would think that with 135 hp you would take more than 5 damage. because if you take 10% outa 135.. its more than 10.. thus you would be taking at least 5 damage per hit... but with prot spirit and shield of absorbtion on you will never take any damage at all.. take it as you will.. i just call it an oprotunity."

Ive looked into the skill and apparrantly the 5 damage reduction is cumulative, it absorbs 5 from first attack 10 from second and so on...

I am not sure if this will reset each time the skill is cast but meh it wont make any difference only the first 2 hits will effect you anyway and mending would counteract that in 3 seconds or so, as long as prot spirit was permanently up.

Very nice find again man gratz on this and ty for sharing it with the community

Never would've thought of this because shielding hands never worked like this one does. GJ being creative!

Don't really need mending/healing breeze/etc. unless you need to counter degen. Usually the ~35-40 health you get from divine favor will heal up that little bit you do take.

Another good swap out you can do here, is go Mo/R for Serpernt's quickness, you can then have SoJ up for about a minute before it will drop (and just about everything will be dead by then.

For doing the Tusked Howlers outside Arkjok Ward, I've been using Prot Spirit, SoA, Blessed Sig, Arcane Echo, SoJ, Balth Spirit, Blessed Aura, and Mending - they remove stances, so no use bringing Mantra of Resolve, and with Arcane Echo, you can kill them without waiting for SoJ to fully recharge (Attys: 5+3 healing, 10+3 smiting, 11+3 prot, 8+3+1 divine) In two runs, came out with three golds, ~6 purples, and some decent runes (don't remember which ones offhand, but they merched for like 320 apiece).

Awesome, awesome build. You are teh win.

Sorry maybe i overlooked something, tanking is quite managable for a monk n warrior... Its the "easy n fast" killing part that hits farming hard.
I don't know if this is any use to anyone...melee enemies will flee when they take damage from SoJ but if you are attacking one of the enemies it won't flee and this way it can be killed...then when it's dead you just start hitting another enemy and so on...

Ah, I was wondering why you had no energy regen with only 3 perma enchants on. I love those 27/-1 +30hp offhands (they come in handy in pvp too).

Avicara seem to be easy to farm with this as well, only groups with no guiles in it.

as the ranger groups in the start of mineral springs.

nvm it seemed i couldn't take screenies because i didn't yet have proph installed on this pc

Btw you can also use watchfull spirit to get +2 health regen instead of mending

Very nice, too bad melee scatters from SoJ/other skills like that
One question, does the damage reduction from SoA reset when recast?
