Default A good hero team for HM?

Hi, since I have very little knowledge on hero skill usage etc. I am in need of assistance on hero builds.

I have started doing a couple HM missions and vanquishes on my ranger, ele, warrior and paragon.

I already have a couple decent hero sets for my warrior and paragon such as Sabway/Racthoth's 2 paragons/orders (though more suggestions would be helpful) and am looking for viable hero sets for my ranger and ele.

I will be doing mostly H/H or groups primarily composed of heroes other than a few occasions.

Thanks in advance.

Well as a ranger sabway would work the same, better if you bring interrupts on your character since that is what sab's builds lack.

balanced... i usually run dslash warrior, SY paragon, SoR and Healer monk. MB/Elemental attunement rodgort spammer, Jagged bones MM Bomber. Rest can be SS and BHA Ranger, kinda optional.

I usually run something among these lines. depends on what area and what people show up

EDIT:maybe you only asked for the 3 heroes you can bring?

depends totally on what profession you run but its basically pick and choose from the list ^

For me that always depends from where i'm vanquishing & monsters. For example Verdant Cascades: MM, Smiter and N/Rit as a secondary healer. The [wiki]skelk[/wiki]'s put a heavy pressure on the groups healer and the conditions & hexes are just asking for smiting (gg Odgen!). I do test runs first to areas at least on EoTN before the full vanquish (to get the builds right).

My most used are: Smiting Monk (it's nice, try it), MM (Jagged Bones). Third hero is based on Need or something specific vs specific monsters (casters, melee, pressure etc). If possible i try to avoid too much AoE since i hate scatter on outdoor zones (except dungeons). Mesmers are good too for some Asura areas vs Kraits.

So another vote for balanced - based on the situation but dont get stuck with your dream team . Change when needed.

Thanks for all of the suggestions, I'll try to test them out later. BTW, could someone post a good smiter build I could test out, thanks.

ATM, I usually run a build like this...

On my ranger, Splinter B/P, SY Barrage, BHA Volley, BA, Magebane, and a couple axe and dagger builds. But usually, I'm testing a build like this:

[skill]Never Rampage Alone[/skill] [skill]Barbed Spear[/skill] [skill]Spear of Redemption[/skill] [skill]Wild Throw[/skill] [skill]Ferocious Strike[/skill] [skill]comfort animal[/skill] [skill]charm animal[/skill] [skill]sunspear rebirth signet[/skill]

Hayda/General

[skill]Spear of Redemption[/skill] [skill]Anthem of Disruption[/skill] [skill]Anthem of Flame[/skill] [skill]Anthem of Envy[/skill] [skill]Anthem of Fury[/skill] [skill]"stand your ground!"[/skill] [skill]"Find their Weakness!"[/skill] [skill]Death Pact Signet[/skill]

MoW/Olias/Livia

[skill]Splinter Weapon[/skill] [skill]Dark Fury[/skill] [skill]Order of Pain[/skill] [skill]Blood Renewal[/skill] [skill]Icy Veins[/skill] [skill]Masochism[/skill] [skill]Signet of Lost Souls[/skill] [skill]Ancestors' Rage[/skill]

Razah/Xandra

[skill]Offering of Spirit[/skill] [skill]Spirit Rift[/skill] [skill]Nightmare Weapon[/skill] [skill]Essence Strike[/skill] [skill]Life[/skill] [skill]Mend Body and Soul[/skill] [skill]Withering Aura[/skill] [skill]Death Pact Signet[/skill]

This is something i use for general purpose smiting

code: OwUTMGHD5xlQ9VjmEUi1vk8AAA
purpose: remove hexes & conditions, some KD here and there. plus nice damage.
attributes: smiting 14, divine 12 / 3 inspiration (could be higher too but so far thats fine for now, 30% faster recharge on signets.).
Skills:

[wiki]smite hex[/wiki] [wiki]smite condition[/wiki] [wiki]spear of light[/wiki] [wiki]Signet of Judgement[/wiki] [wiki]Bane signet[/wiki] [wiki]Castigation Signet[/wiki] [wiki]Signet of Devotion[/wiki][wiki]Mantra of inscriptions[/wiki]

Thats for outside areas with condition & hex spam, kinda fun for other areas too. Devotion signet is just for a weak support heal for what it's worth . No enchants for this build so i dont have to worry about extra damage from shatters etc.

I find this is a nice little setup for 4 man areas with corpses:

[card]Blinding Surge[/card][card]Splinter Weapon[/card][card]Ancestors' Rage[/card][card]Enervating Charge[/card][card]Glyph Of Lesser Energy[/card][card]Air Attunement[/card][card]Death Pact Signet[/card]

[card]Word Of Healing[/card][card]Signet Of Rejuvenation[/card][card]Reversal Of Fortune[/card][card]Dismiss Condition[/card][card]Spirit Bond[/card][card]Aegis[/card][card]Resurrection Chant[/card]

[card]Jagged Bones[/card][card]Animate Bone Minions[/card][card]Death Nova[/card][card]Blood Of The Master[/card][card]Extinguish[/card][card]Protective Spirit[/card][card]Aegis[/card][card]Signet Of Lost Souls[/card]

Decent damage, efficient healing, anything melee that breaks through the minion wall is blinded and you get the AOE effect of splinter and AR.
