Default Mesmer + Paragons?

hey guys, I've been running Discord/Sab-way for ages now, and it's getting boring :S I noticed Racway being archived but it used to be pretty good if I recall correct. I wanted to shift from Discord to physicalway, but since I'm not an Save-Yourselves-er thought this might not work that well

1 monk
1 SY!
1 orders
5 physicals

is basic physicalway setup

if I'd run it

it'd be
1 monk
1 mesmer
1 orders
5 physicals

now I could run orders, but if I'd do so then we'd lose the Party wide healing from the dervish's air magic.

you guys got any ideas on what I should do?

either stick with lame*** casterways or go with paragons so my Hayda finally has some use

I'd really like to use like 1 motigon +1 commandagon, for increased party wide dmg + healing + damage reduction, but it just doesn't seem viable to me, after all if mesmers were good with physicalways we'd have seen them in the physicalways @ pvxwiki.com

Yeah, 1 monk and no SY! won't work in HM. Motivation just won't cut it.
Definitely start by including the ER protter.

What you could try though is an FC Curser - with the usual selection of the sweet curses with Mantra Of Recovery(for a faster recharge of MoP) as your elite. With high enough FC you could be throwing Barbs on pretty much anything on sight and that in combination with the physical army could be doable. (Although you could just go with Mindbender and Lyssa's Aura instead.)

Did you consider running a spirit army? This is a very insane hero build and it should be something fun if you are bored of Disco/Sab.

Those are 2 of the best options to add a mesmer to a phys team. The other one i can think of its an AP caller or Evas Spammer. Except those i dont see any particular synergy between mesmers and paragons/phys chars.

You could try running a technobabble extend condition mesmer for your physicals. That way you can have tons of interrupts from them hitting casters.

I second the use of barbs. I've used my Me/n with two jagged bones MB's in vanquishing the jade sea. Barbs cuts through things like butter, and doesn't really need max stats to be effective (I like to put 8 or 10 in it).

I wonder if you could also run strength of honor + inspiration energy skills. might not be super effective, but could be fun.
