nice, mind dragging me along for one of these I wouldn't mind learning the build myself.

We just tried this build http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/Build:Team...eep_Discordway, we went to Urgoz without problems, but then we couldn't figure out how to deal with him.
I've just read this thread but i don't know where is the point where to put EoE without it being killed, does anyone have a screenshot of it?
Another thing is that i don't know how to make the heroes spike urgoz to bring him down 90% health: they keep dying even before arriving near him and it's impossible to resurrect them.
Any suggestion?

Please reference the compass and notice the little line? thats spirit range but..... if your uncomfortable with texmod and some people are for various reasons, I recommend (and I apologize for not having a pic for ya) the location just off to the north of the ramp, its on a lower elevation and theres a door with a serpent guardian 'in front' of it (as you're technically behind it) from there look to the south at the ramp, there should be a nice big dark-coloured patch at the end closest to urgoz it ends abruptly after that end is where the explosive growths spawn so just place the EoE JUST barely before the end of that dark patch (the closer you come the better, usually) [added to first post under omitted statements, for clarification]

For attacking Urgoz (this is the hardest part with heroes), you have to LOCK!!! your heroes onto him this can be done by targeting Urgoz, not by attacking him but by simply having him as your target (meaning he's in the enemy selection bar that's usually at the top of your screen), then opening your hero menu's (the small ones in which u can micromanage their skills) just below their pictures there's a little what looks like a target sign make sure this is ORANGE! and check to make sure it says he's targeting Urgoz (you may have to force-drop bundles, since most of them will likely have ashes with them) then all at once, you have to attack him directly (remember to FLAG your heroes, as needed) the rest is in the article on the first page. Thank you very much for your answer. Actually, we did more or less what you said, locked heroes onto him, flag them near him and clicked manually Discord (after the caller had put a condition and a hex on him). The problem is that after the first spike the caller were dead (so the discord spikes were become useless), the heroes started healing and doing other things (not spiking him, so maybe we had to disable all the other skills), and dying. After a couple of seconds they were all dead, except for me and the third human who were running around avoiding kds. I had UA on my bar and i did my best to try resurrecting heroes, but they just kept dying in a matter of seconds. I agree with you that the discord build is probably less effective than yours when it comes to kill urgoz, but the problem of keeping people alive doesn't seem to depend on the build. Heroes can't move like humans do, so they eventually die. To make things more interesting, then, i discovered that urgoz's hits strip enchantments, so even protective spirit doesn't work at all.
I was thinking about bringing some degenerative condition, like poison and bleeding, and maybe some hex, and apply them to him to degenerate him until he falls under 90%, while running around in the meanwhile to avoid kds, keeping heroes far away, in safety, but i don't know if it's a viable option.

Heroes do die thats specifically why my build has "We Shall Return!" because it's a multi-use mass-res, meaning that it can save your heroes in Urgoz all at once, every 30 seconds and if you're smart about your positioning you can res your entire team and beat Urgoz harder and harder.

I'd always thought he did something like that just never bothered to spend the time to test it...

To my knowledge this wouldn't work.... or it would take WAYY too long to be practical because Urgoz has VERY high health (I would suspect somewhere between 7500-10000, possibly, though unlikely even as high as 15000) and not only that, Urgoz has a very high natural regen (probably +10 or more), so from what I know degening him would be slow, or unsuccessful, resulting in it being unpractical. (though I would love to be proven wrong, it'd make for a more effective way to kill him)

Thank you very much again, we've just done it with an ally group with random people, we managed to damage him under 90% with regular damage (fire, etc..) and then using EoE, after having put it in the right spot, as you said, he died quickly.
Probably the problem is the micro manage required by the discord team, we will try your build the next time we want to try it with 3 people^^

The micromanage will always be there against Urgoz, and it does take some practice getting use to heroes, the problem with discordway is it requires hexes and conditions to be on him which creates a much higher risk due to the elevated complexity level because soo many things have to go JUST right and the problem with this is you're already micro-managing your heroes you don't need the elevated problems of having to ensure a hex and a condition is always on Urgoz, this is a prime example of what I call "player-overload" which means that the player has just TOO much on his/her plate and he/she just can't deal with it all and it causes failures very very quickly the reason I used the team that I did was to avoid this problem as much as possible, that being said for many a player it may just be too much for others it may simply be difficult.
And have fun, I hope you have as much fun as I have/do.

It's possible but we'd have to make a specialized build for ya, I'll get on it tomorrow (just not in the mood for it atm lol)

We actually had a friend run with us and essentially he just brought a Hb build and was able to replace our SoLS healer and we got through in 1h 16m without too much difficulty (most of which was my fault lol) but he did have minor energy issues at one point but yea... fairly easy just be mindful of the lack of a biper and it'd be fine.
we did use a celerity just because it makes urgoz 100x easier with heroes
