7 Hero Deep and Urgoz
I'm really loving the 7 hero update. Gives me the chance to do some of the elite areas at my own pace now.
Tried doing the Deep yesterday with 7 heroes, but couldn't get them all teleported through the portals. Even though I placed hero 1 on one portal, hero 2 on 2nd, etc. Some still remained behind. Is there a way to get them all to portal with me?
Anyone have thoughts on the Deep or Urgoz with 7 heroes?

I know a trick that works with 2 humans and 10 heros, might be the same for you.
You flag your first 3 heros into room 1. and the rest back into the outpost. Even though there is a gate there, you can walk through it. then you enter room 2. After you have entered the room you cancel your flags, and all the heros slowly enter the room with you.
Hope this helps.
Mini.

You have to flag your heroes in portal 1, 3 will go in and you can flag another 3 heroes into the 2nd portal. Then youve got 1 hero left and flag it into the 3rd portal and you can go in the 3rd portal to.
When you are in the 3rd portal I donno how but all heroes get teleported to you if you unflag your heroes.
Hope my english is good enough to explain this well :P

A year ago, you could flag heroes into the portals (or past them on the minimap) and they'd go through, tele back somehow and loop along the path until you went through a portal or something. As long as you don't mind dealing with possible death penalty, and at least a lack of heroes (but the first rooms are pretty easy anyway)

I did the Deep with 7 heroes on NM with no cons as a D/W VoS with SoS, ST, SoGM, MM, Panic, Ineptitude, N/Rt Healer, and UA healer/prot (more for UA than anything else). It was fairly straightforward once I learned the tricks. I used the portal trick (1,2,3 into the first portal, 4-7 flagged where you spawn, you go through the second portal, unflag, and everyone pops to you).
The next trick is getting through the gate that normally requires 5 people to open. Kill the first group through the gate, use Necrotic Traversal to bring over as many people as possible (I could bring over 5). Then kill the next closest group and aggro the Aspect or the group on the left cliff (seemed to work for me) and a horde of enemies will spawn and kill everyone left behind the gate. Use UA/Rebirth to bring them over.
Then it was pretty straightforward up to Kanaxai, following the wiki and pulling when it's recommended. For Kanaxai, I used the trick where you get him to spawn adds on one side of the room. Once enough adds are spawned, he can't spawn any more. I didn't even use a bonder or a tank skill, just running up to one side, using You Move Like a Dwarf! and running away (edit: no recall either, although it would certainly make it neater). He'll start running to you before you actually get into typical aggro range, so I managed to keep knocking him down without aggroing the old groups. The groups he spawns don't seem to be linked to each other, and I could aggro one or two if they wandered too far out of position without pulling the whole group. Then you can just pull him to the side without the adds and fight him normally.
As for Urgoz, I got to Urgoz himself pretty easily, but then I got quickly destroyed. I wasn't even expecting to win, Urgoz with heroes seems like it would require micro skills way beyond me.

Hmm. Whenever I do the Dunes of Despair bonus corpse teleportation trick, my heroes come walking from outside radar range to me, only on my side of the canyon. They don't teleport to me really (like when you flag them through a portal).

Just move around a little. They won't appear immediately, so I just move away from the portal I came in from and they all come through.

Yeah, unless you like redoing stuff a lot, I recommend having a good look at wiki before you try to do Deep. If you're unfamiliar with the Scorpion room and the Fear room, you've got a good chance of wiping due to not knowing wtf is going on. Not having the right skills is annoying too. With 1man+7heroes you'll need someone with NT and Rebirth/UA to get past the gate.

This makes me wonder if there is any possible way to kill Urgoz with heroes. You'd have to have them move around constantly. I guess one way to try would be to bring EoE, get Urgoz below 90% hp, then micro heroes around until he dies.
Has anyone been able to kill Urgoz with just heroes?

Urgoz is easy to kill.
Put the hero with EoE on flag 1
Take a Ray of judgement hero on flag 2 --> Take smite hex and ReversalofDamage on this hero
Take a flesh of my flesh hero on flag 3
Flag every hero apart from hero 1 and 2 on the bridge before Urgoz so EoE doesnt spike you all to death, if needed use the FoMF hero to res you.
Flag hero 1 at the place for EoE
Use Ebon Sin and then use ray of judgement hero,
Flag the ray of judgement hero around and move around yourself spammin sin support/ damage on urgoz
For the Deep,
Take heroes with recall put them on the portal. Or take a hero with UA and flag the heroes on the portal thingies. Just get through the gate with recall, flag heroes at gate and let UA monk / yourself rez the heroes as soon as they die.
That's how I run the Deep/Urgoz usually.
