Default Do nec heroes use OoU correctly?

Since I have EBSoH on my Ranger, I would like to know if they do so I can use Bone Fiends instead of bomber.

Not interested in Minion bomber at the moment.

Question: How do you make your minions not die too fast? Mine kept dying a lot.

I would not say "correctly", but good enough. Just don't expect them to afford any of the prot magic that bombers usually bring.

I just did a run quick through of Tahnakai Temple hard mode with an OOU mm, and I find they are quite good with it. I find they don't suicidally spam it on recharge and do use it in good moderation. They seem to prioritise raising minions and possibly death nova-ing them too but do still use it enough. In most of the rooms of the missions the mm seems to have used it at the start, just as the minions were charging into battle. This may have been due to him being at full health. After the initial charge, the mm then seems to priortise raising and death nova-ing minions but will then cast oou shortly after or in between if it's not recharging. As it was a quick run through, and I brought a good healer, I forgot to test whether minion size and/or hp affects his usage of oou though I would presume so.

Hope this helps

EDIT: If you don't take death nova then your oou mm will probably spam oou a bit more than mine.

It goes well. Just slot in a vampiric horror. 1 or 2 of them will pretty much make the sac rate irrelevant (improved damage -> more health regained). Micro helps, as always. Sometimes they get caught up casting spells you don't need at the moment and manually spamming OoU is needed.

They might spam Blood of the Masta!

That's about the size of it.

Sometimes they don't use it as often as you'd want. Sometimes they do use it at times that are dumb or even suicidal. But mostly they get good enough damage to justify bringing it, and do so without getting themselves killed too often.

After running this, it seems my minions are dying more than Olias could raise.

Don't know if it's needed but I always have shelter and life in a party with OoU, as well as BotM on the nec... also take what I said seriously, you *can't* run any other spammable skills, they need all the energy they can get for fiends. something like:

OoU
Fiend
Vampiric
SolS
Masochism
BotM

For last two, GoLE is nice if you can spare the secondary. Foul Feast is OK if you can hit 12 reaping. I see angorodon's cast too often when condition free so don't consider that reliable. Sometimes I run fall back/we shall return instead and that's still fine. Radiants/attunes are worth it for this kind of build.

I took out Sols and put in GolE + Dark bond + Blood ritual.

It ran a lot better. Thanks for the suggestion.
