I'm afraid I don't know Paragons from a hole in the ground, but when I started Silent Surf I had roughly the same problem with my customary adrenal warrior. I did passably well by adding Dark Fury on a necro (needs 5 blood magic) for +1 adrenaline per hit, and using scythes or daggers to get more hits. I did better by switching to energy-based Warrior's Endurance builds and giving up on adrenaline as the core of my build. I'm not sure if you could do anything like that with a paragon.
The rit did work well for me on SS. They don't need adrenaline or enchantments (lots of Disenchantment around), they can lead from the front and ball targets (with Summon Spirits to tank), they're resitant to Backfire spam because binding rituals aren't spells, and they have spare time to loot.
FWIW, I got 15 minutes like you on MQ and SS took me about 24.
