How can you solo-farm with a Ne/Mo?????

I've tried protection prayer skills, but everytime I try to farm in the desert, I get killed ... ALL my protection prayers are removed after 1 hit?!!?

How the hell is it possible for a Necromancer / Monk or Necromancer / Warrior to farm, ... I've seen a build called meleelancer or something but I tried the skills ... didn't work for me.

So any ideas?

Where exactly are you trying to farm? Different areas use different strategies. I'm assuming you're taking on something like Jade Scarabs (nasty buggers) or other such creatures that strip enchantments. Try to find an area that does not have creatures that easily counter your build =)

Minotaurs take away all my enchantments.... they're not even using strip enchantment they just hit me and boom everything gone :S

I don't know any places to farm with my build....

Don't have it, I've used Protective Spirit and Vigirous Spirit and some others.

Hmm, then what is your build? I've never heard of an N/Mo farming in the desert, although I'm not saying it's impossible.

I can solo most of the crystal desert with my necro (used to be N/R, changed to N/Mo just for the rez ability).
This is my build:
Blood=16 (12+1+3)
Soul Reaping=13 (12+1)
NOTE: The remaining atrib. points dont matter, since this build uses only Blood magic, and Soul Reaping for the energy.

Skills:
Life Transfer {E}
Life Siphon
Shadow Strike
Vamp. Gaze
Vamp. Touch
Well of Blood
Unholy Feast/Blood Renewal
Demonic Flesh

Now to use this build efficently:
1. Pick a target. 2. Use the following skills in order--LT{E},LS,SS,VG
3. Switch target (first target is dead or still undergoing degen.) and LS,VG,WoB
4. Walk into well 5. If mob surrounds you, use DF, UF, LS (on all targets), LT
5. Pick up loot and repeat.

Works against mobs between levels 0 and 28.

Find an area that has plenty of animals walking around. Kill them with Deathly Swarm to start a minion party. Once you get a few going it's not such a problem. It doesn't work everywhere, but I find it to work ok in many places.

1-Deathly Swarm
2-Death Nova
3-Taste of Death
4-Verata's Sacrifice
5-Heal Area
6-Animate Bone Horror
7-Animate Bone Feind
8-Whatever else

Death - Max
Soul Reaping - 8-11
Healing - Rest

I was considering an aura of the liche farmer, but it is fricking slow compared to a warrior/anything or an invincimonk farmer.

There was a N/Mo solo build on here that followed the Mo 55hp build, but with Necro Superiors rather than Monk ones.

I have no clue why the Minos are removing all your enchantments.

Have u trie RE CASTING ur prot spirit... its not an enchantment it fades in a certain ammount of seconds.... because thats the only way that ur prot spirit can be dissapering while fighting minos :S

Hot Dead build sounds very strong but I dont like SS, its slow. May be spending some attr points into Protections?

It says it is in the description, and I know it fades in 5+ seconds... but it faded right after I used it... and no it was not interrupted.

There are a few variants of 55hp build that can work with all spellcaster professions. Not nearly as fast nor as resilient as the original Mo/W but they can solo the same places and notably minotaurs, griffons or hydrae and trolls.

If my memory serves me well, you'll be using one max attribute to deal damage (either smiting or any other from your primary profession), and about 9 in healing and protection. The rest goes to your primary attribute for its intrinsic bonus (fast cast, soul reaping, energy storage). The core of this build is survival with prot spirit, healing breeze and mending (plus orison if you need an emergy healing), energy management with balth spirit and essence bond, and 2/3 skills to deal damage (balth aura, symbol, zealot).

EDIT: Minotaurs can't dispell enchantments but devourers can interrupt them if they're lucky with a distracting shot.
