I found another one. If you go straight out of heroes audience there's a porter. Go through that, go straight again for a bit and you'll find a giant pack of Minatoaurs ripe for the picking. They drop a lot of money.

I'll check this out in a bit and add a map then add it.

--edit--
Many small mino groups scattered around (groups of 3 or so). Decent farming i guess.

A gold per hour ratio would be nice as well, sure you can farm pretty much anywhere that is rather obvious but if the gold is no good why bother. But good job so far.

I used to farm sand giants and griffons between thirsty and destiny. Just start from destiny and go as right as u can (in big map). Then proceed to thirsty. Lots of golden giant slayer hammers.

You mean the "new tombs"? or the old UW in ToA? This thread is mostly about new farming alternatives. Besides, I believe there are others on this forum that are more qualified than me to talk about the UW

It is a very nice spot, plenty of armor drops.

All the warrior grawls have is a knockdown, not terribly difficult, doyak sig or balanced stance FTW. The necro grawl do have chiblains, but they ussually dont use it unless ur suicidal enough to stand next to them. The necro boss likes to use chiblains then plague sig., and the ranger boss has poison, so there is some degen.

If you really want alot of ice imps, go north outside of marhan's grotto.
Just my opinion on things.

Ice Floe (ice imps/pinesouls)
Talus Chute (trolls/giants/avicara) - i use dolyak signet.

Default imo.

ok 1st of all i'd like to say, i think this therd is agood idea, not just bcz of the nerf, maybe to add to sticky later on with some order in this.

about rankor to beacons.
i fell like i have somehow mislead ppl. its a great place to farm (last run got blk dye and about 3k after selling items). but u need to consider this:
and let me quote some ppl,

not even close to titans rune farming(alot easier i mean), but same idea, this is not your 55 walk in the Prophet's Path park.

This is what I have observed in my tests, at least. I use strict controls, too, so it is unlikely my results are contaminated. In order to defeat Anti-Farm I switch where I farm after every run, and often change secondaries/characters as well. I rush a mission or two every rotation through all the spots I farm, and I very rarely suffer from Anti-Farm.

same idea, dont except nice gold drops each and every time.

some other things ive noted to myself:
there is sometimes an Heretic right outside in the 1st group of Blessed Griffons you see. imo just ozne in again and out. just bad luck i guees to start a run with that, btw if i rezone.. ni the path north i never see antoher one on the way. if u dont want to zone cover up your prot and your fine.

life begin at 13. (maybe a new moto for myself). yes u die in this run.

oh better off:

ty ubermancer. owe you alot.
anyhow the whole idea but the Lost Strongbox etc.

have fun and good luck.

Those trolls also might be a bit hard to get to for a lot of farmers.

Run in from Warcamp to DD and farm the giants(tons of em) and the 4 or so griffions from that portal...then move on to the giants up near the Armor DD Chest(if they are still there after the update) and repeat over and over. Lost of good drops, unfortunaly mostly hammers.

Elona reach has a good minotar solo farm, its the same skill set as griffons(just without the devours yay!) You can pull in about 15 minotars and this only takes about 3 minutes per run. They are all at the start of the mission so its super easy for farming and *cough* power leveling.

Default about cover and Azure in sanke dance.

They use Signet of Judgement which knocks you down, but no worries. If you need to cast Protective Spirit, cast it while you are knocked down to secure the cast. Count the Azure Shadows, and count the times you are knocked down. After they all used their Signet of Judgement, sprint/rush away.

same here.u can even kill them.count time u get Kd. and cast your soj after (a max smite rod like like the droks collector one with Halves skill recharge of Smiting Prayers spells (Chance: 20%)
with customize should do the trick to finish them off.

Next is the hard part, where the heretic is with a bunch of guiles on the road. Cast PS and SB before starting to run, they'll make you bleed so just cast Breeze on the road, then sprint, rush, try to outrun them. At all times you want to have your PS covered with breeze. That means everytime you need to cast Breeze, cast PS first then cover it with breeze. If you need to recast PS, cast it then cover with breeze. Try to monitor the Guile(s) like I did in the video to make it easier

again...same as here.cover your port with w/e til yuor far away.

good idead is gen. to read cerb thred.

ty cerb. great work.

You can leave granite citadel like ur goin on an ids run, then kill the stone summit in that place, i forget the name, then go on to mineral springs (watch out for heretics) and then die once, respawn w/ 13 hp (-20 offhand) and round up a big group of avicara, kill em, w/ mantra of resolve for the avicara brave savage slash (u should be fine even w/ the new energy loss increase) and echo soj and after that u can kill the rest at 55 hp, then rezone when u hit the end of the line of fierces, becuase those are the most effective kills here, and then start over. quite the sentence huh. u get armor and weapons, but i warn u now it'll kill u to see all the fellblades the braves carry when very few drop. seriously like half of em have fells in their hands. ><
one thing is be ready to switch to ur -50 offhand after u kill some avicara, as they dont all drop at the same time and at 85 hp u'll get whipped real quick from dual shot and ignite (4 separate chunks of dmg, not pretty). just wait till it's around 40 and swap.

Edit: sorry for the lack of info/organization earlier
Attributes:
16 smiting
13 healing -i like to run this one at 13 cuz u get degen from bleeding and life siphon at the same time
9 prot
9 divine
i think this works, if i have too many points just drop divine or prot

Skills:
Protective Spirit, Healing Breeze, Shield of Judgement, Arcane Echo, Mantra of Resolve, Essence Bond, Balthazar's Spirit, Mending

Tools: I use a weapon w/ a 20% enchantment mod, and switch to a wand if there's one ice golem lingering somewhere (fire dmg whips em real bad), which there often is, because one of em waits around while the others attack
-50hp offhand (durr)
-20hp offhand -this makes it easy to suicide once and then come back w/ 13 hp to kill a large group of avicara that would otherwise overwhelm u

mantra at 0 inspiration magic isn't a problem, u gain lots of energy and rarely have to rely on it to prevent interrupt anyway.
