Just remember if you get a blue armor drop, id it, you might get lucky that it has a radiant insignia, which cost ~1.5k now.

Might sound like a stupid thing to ask....

... But aren't there typically a group of Margonites BEFORE you get to the dead spirits when you zone in?

.... Exactly how is one supposed to get past those solo in Hard Mode? They have all kindsa kewky spells and stuff!

Or just walk backwards upon loading and wait for them to walk away. (Takes all of 5 seconds)

They actually move out of the way?

I've fought them every time I went there in normal mode... with my full party of hero/hench. Never was a problem, but I wasn't exactly farming... as such.

Ah! I have trouble not getting agro with a hench party too. Solo should be no problem.

You're right, i could have. What would be in it for me to make a statement like that? Fame, glory, fortune? Nah, not what i'm after. Because it's never happened to you, doesn't mean it can't. I don't have a screen shot, 'cause frankly dead swords aren't that big of a deal these days.

P.S. Clearly in my defense. I'm kinda wondering "what's it to him?"

Not trying to brag, just pointing out you can get good drops pretty easily by following the builds put forth in the guide.

I made another run but subbed out Resilient Weapon for Healing Sig. Resilient doesn't seem to do much more than hold ground and can be interrupted. Healing Sig can not so it seems a safer choice.

I found it's a good idea to drop in a second interrupt blocker like Shield Stance or Defensive Stance so you can fire off an additional Vengeful Weapon or two while VWK is down. Not that it really matters because the farm can be done with DP.

Can anywhere else of worth be farmed with that same Rt/R Splinter Barrage build?

I haven't even got it yet and I'm already gleeful at the possibilities.

Stygian Veil is part of DoA.

Farming those quests are still somewhat profitable on hard mode, usually get 2-3 golds a run, and a dye or 2.

Is Dead Sword farming even profitable anymore? The golds dropped there seem like hard sales, and I was just browsing the sale forums and seen Req9's for 15k and req 11's for 5k (B/O prices).

Seems like these have officially been overfarmed into the crapper...

I just sell the golds unid for 1k each, I usually get about 15-20 golds per hour.
