i believe yeah. i did the run for the first time a week ago with a slightly modified version of the build and it works well. i tried other builds like a W/E build i found to farm onis in rheas crater, but it didnt work out well for this run because sliver armor didnt deal enough damage to the spirit slaves. the build work vs onis because they attacks so fast. then i switched to a vwk build and did only two runs before finding a req 9 max dead sword

I don't think you can run the first warrior build posted. It works, but isn't as reliable as some other builds, VwK gets interrupted. I can usually tank until it recharges but then once the other waves jump me I get wiped. Trying to get my ele to bone palace to try some terra tanking. gg

Use Bonetti's Defense while VwK is recharging...less damage and less interrupts.

yep, the first build posted - the tank does still work & i got a dead sword using it, not max though it was gold :/

anyone got any idea if a dead sword (not max dam) is worth anything?

Alright, I tried using the first build, and it works. I got lucky enough to get 2 full groups of casters, with 1 warrior in general. After the warrior died, the 2 groups of caster fell pretty easy...and I got a dead sword max req 10! I would post a screenshot but I was too excited.

I have gotten 4 max damage Dead Swords with good mods. (req 9/10/11/12)
3 Max Armor Ancient Shields (req 9 tactics/req 12 str/req 10 command)
4 Gold Staffs and 3 gold wands (nothing good).

35 runs approx

hmmmm ok about 20 runs down now , no dead swords yet (wife did though just not max damage) got a couple of shields that were max but nothing much else ........EXCEPT I have had twice now that the damn warrior was holding a dead sword and I got a white dye......

I'll try to get some screen shots if it happens again

well i had a max inscribable req 10 dead sword with crappy mods on my 4th run. but i later sold it for 80k. was it a reasonable sale?

Yeah...Ive been seeing signs that prices have been dropping down to the 50's, so Id say 80k was decent for a req 10. In fact a you got alot for it IMO. The market is being flooded right now.

The Deads are dropping still, so guys dont get discouraged if you want your own. But personally Ive made more off the money and the salvaging of runes and stuff than the few perfect deads Ive got. This by far has been the easiest farm money and steel ingot maker for me.

eh so do you all salvage every thing that you cant bring back to merch? is it worth it? as salvage kits cost gold too. or will the materials salvaged yield more gold?

In My Opinion.

And, IMO, I think we should begin to let this topic cease to exist for the time being like we do other farming areas. Many of us know now, and this topic can always be picked back up for a new class to farm or something.

But, untill then, if we keep this up, we'll deffiently be waving "Buh-Bye" to the undead here very soon.
