sorry but i disagree with the SV > SS.The reason?Well it's kind of a waste of time to cast it on one enemy and when it dies to cast another ss on the enemy next to the dead one.
example from my UW experience:
agro on a group of aataxes,if they are positioned around you in the order left-center-right you just cast SS on left and right and it's all over for that group...
SV on the other hand ,i consider a nuisance because when an enemy is left with less health than you, you have to wait for his hp regen,bla,bla,yatta,yatta or in other words that situation too is a waste of time...

I guess it's time to make some videos of my farming efforts. I have a nice spot (well not really nice anymore since HM) that I use EoE and the white/blue/purple drop difference is night and day.

OK well I don't know where you get your facts. You state everything in the OP as if it's fact. But from my experience rezoning causes decrease in drops in HM. It has happened on several of my characters now and is not random it is very very obvious. Not only that but then I can't get drops at any farming spot once this apparant farming code has kicked in.

1st run killing 3 groups of 3 Jade brotherhood outside wajjun - 2 gold runes, 2 purple runes and a couple of whites

2nd run 2 purple runes and some whites

3rd run a gold axe and some whites

since then another 30 runs or so only one white per group never anything more. and other farming runs I've done only one white per group sometimes nothing. This can be improved slightly if I take on board the killing them all in one go explanaition, and I can get 2 whtie drops per group occasionally, but only white still run after run after run and this is in HM. This is with the same character killing the same way. coincidence? maybe but unlikely.

you still don't get it do you?like in NM,in HM there are still areas that will drop less stuff.Example:I have yet to see a gold drop for me in Crystal Desert Hydra farming(and i've used SV and SS and SoJ etc.).When i do my solo DS runs i get always,ALWAYS 1-3 gold drops average.In conclusion: It does matter where u farm in HM.

Read what I said. I said that I was getting golds and purples to start with then it changed, and it's the same in other areas. It's not the area that's poor, it's my drop rate that changes. I understand some areas are better than others that's fine. I'm just saying that there's still farming code in for rezoning in HM at least for me. I go from getting golds and purples to getting nothing but a white repeatedly in the same zone on the same enemies. Not in different zones. I'm not even complaining I'm past all that. I was just commenting that saying in the OP that there is no rezoning farm code is not necessarily correct as many people have found otherwise just search the forum for posts you'll find plenty.

LOL after all this and hours of getting nothing I had one more quick go on the jade brotherhood. two groups of three dropped 3 gold runes between them - go figure... maybe my luck is changing or maybe the code resets I don't know but hopefully it'll keep up

Nope some of you still aint getting it. Its all RANDOM AND LOOT SCALLING that is making things seem odd. Remember loot scalling is now you only get about 24% chance of a drop to begin with when you solo. The type of drops is what is random. You might get a good run of randomly getting drops and sometimes you dont. I had 5 mursatt tokens drop last night in 1 run in HM and there not even exempt.

Yes and another variable that we need to put into our data is:

are we making our kills inside the aggro zone??

because lately i have been getting more golds when the monsters are inside my aggro bubble

About 2 days ago me and my friends went farming in the sulfurous waste using the worms available, during the first run we got tonz of golds, the second one less and during the third one we got a couple of purples, I really don't believe Anet when they say that rezoning does not affect the loot because it obviously did.
