The purpose of the thread was to share farming spots and builds and then Rezzdog pops up who has found a miracle build that nets 150-200k per hour in an area that no one else has thought of farming and that only he and 1 other person has found the perfect build for, despite the million+ ppl actually playing the game and the amount of ppl that regularly farm.

TBH I doubt the whole thing very much,I mean it isnt exactly hard to go farming for hours and hours then go out and drop a load of golds and take a screenie is it.

If it is true (which I doubt) then it is simply your attitude that stinks, as the only reason your posting anything was to say "this is what I get and I ain't sharing anything with anyone else" if that's the case why bother posting on an information thread?

For those that have bothered to use the thread properly /claps

I think every farming place mentioned is a reasonably well known one, the vaettir farm is dull but reasonably profitable, the destroyer core farm is the same again, moddock crevice farm can be reasonable too, farming ToT bags in nebo terrace was a good one for the last week though was netting around 30-50k per hour including selling emblem stacks

I'll make it a point of listing everything that I've ever tried on my ranger, with detailed notes. Unlike some people, I think that knowledge is empowering. This is hardly everything, but I'm a bit tired right now, so I'll post the rest tomorrow.

Profession: R/Rt (Splinter Barrage / Edge of Extinction Bomb)
Description: Farming Margonites
Location: Turai's Procession
Requirements: Battle of Turai's Procession, Hard Mode.
Advised: Lightbringer (R4+)
Excellent: Chests, Rares, Runes, Special Event Items
Good: Dyes, Tomes (Monk, Warrior, Mesmer, Dervish)
Tolerable: Exotic Skins, Collectables (Margonite Masks)
Abysmal: Lockpicks, Materials
Notes: A very balanced, simple and profitable farm.

Profession: R/Me (Echo Trapping)
Description: Farming Stygian Creatures
Location: Stygian Veil
Requirements: Breaching the Stygian Veil, Hard Mode, Lightbringer (4+)
Excellent: Collectables (Stygian Gems), Rares
Good: Exotic Skins
Tolerable: Special Event Items, Tomes (Necromancer, Warrior)
Abysmal: Chests, Dyes, Lockpicks, Materials, Runes
Notes: Requires a great deal of practice on Hard Mode.

Profession: R/Rt (Splinter Barrage / Edge of Extinction Bomb)
Description: Farming Slave Spirits
Location: Shattered Ravines
Requirements: Destroy the Ungrateful Slaves, Hard Mode
Good: Exotic Skins, Rares
Tolerable: Materials (Bone), Special Event Items
Abysmal: Chests, Collectables, Dyes, Lockpicks, Runes, Tomes
Notes: Not overly profitable. Nerfed. Maybe worth a shot anyways.

Profession: R/E (Terratank)
Description: Farming Stone Elementals
Location: Old Ascalon
Requirements: Hard Mode
Excellent: Materials (Granite Slabs, Rubies, Sapphires)
Good: Chests, Dyes, Lockpicks, Rares, Passage Scrolls
Tolerable: Collectables (Scorched Lodestones), Special Event Items, Tomes
Abysmal: Exotic Skins, Runes
Notes: A surprisingly simple run with good returns.

Profession: R/Me (Famine)
Description: Farming Bosses
Location: Arborstone
Requirements: Hard Mode
Excellent: Kurzick Faction
Good: Experience Scrolls, Materials (Granite Slabs), Uniques
Tolerable: Collectables, Rares
Abysmal: Chests, Dyes, Exotic Skins, Lockpicks, Special Event Items, Runes, Tomes
Notes: If you're trying to farm Kurzick faction and perhaps earn some cash, it might be worth trying. However, they have an abysmal drop rate for valuable items (e.g. elite tomes).

Money Made.
Hourly: Dunno exactly, sometimes up to 3-4 golds in a run, but only bother selling r9's or colossals - the rest are for guild giveaways
Daily: Can easily stack wood, bolts of cloth, tanned hides, iron and bones in one day - always sell purples, runes (attunement, radiant sometimes keep), and salvage whites (or good mods)
Monthly: Been doing less than a month and already gotten 9 colossal drops (do probably an average of 7-10 runs/day...about 5-10min per run depending how far you want to go)..ever since I started I never have less than 50-75k in may mitts at all times...this makes practicing new builds in uw/fow a lot less painful

I've been playing this game (all chapters) for almost a year now, and I have yet to find more lucrative areas that are as consistent as these *(as solo)....I can't figure out how everyone is making a million a month!! Are these projected figures based upon a good hourly rate, or are u all actually spending the time to sale this stuff in the open market (Kamadan, LA, etc.)?? People don't typically buy crap golds, unless in bulk for cheap (or un'id'ed), so u all must be getting a metric butt-load of excellent drops! Anyway, I'm not hating, more power to you...guess I'm a little jealous I'll have to try some of those spots.
would you mind telling me the other locales of the corsairs?
other than zehlon

if we think about his farmplace we should know there isnt such a great place to farm for everyone to make 200k,if you look at that bunch of dropps on the first screen and he tells you thats all from one or two hours, its low. compare it with margonites farm in turgais procession 72 margonites in hardmode in 6 minutes ( thats my speed) that makes 10 runs in one hour and if im lucky i get up to 8 golden dropps a run, so?? its 80 golds a hour, just if you are lucky. on his screens you see a lot of swords, which means he farms a lot warrior, since only warriors dropps warrior weapons right? now guess which warriors are common in gwen, what about the minos? there are a lot of them in the farshiverpeaks, if you are lucky there with farming them and get a lot swords with +30 or 20/20 then you may get 200k in 1-2 hours, get a build for doing them and i bet you got his farmplace

greets

jaeharys - right outside beknur harbor (HM) take the scale bounty and follow the beach path to the mining area which is below all of the harpy nests. Along the way, there are various smaller groups of corsairs and when u first start on the path there are some groups of scales and on the land-side, a larger mob of insects (typically stalking nephilia, bladed termites, and preying lances - if there is a grub lance I don't bother as SoJ cannot usually out-damage their healing prowess)...As you continue further along the coast there are groups of 2-3 corsair raiders and occasionally a boss spawn (ranger boss - can't remember the name) and ultimately, some large mobs of corsairs roaming around the mines. Drops have been good for me along that route.

There are many areas in Istan that have corsairs - unfortunately, I don't know atm what the cardinal directions are - but if you continue in zehlon to the right when you zone in from the Astralarium, go past all of the scales and there are groups of corsairs past the bounty npc - near the ships.

Another place which is a bit harder in HM because the levels are 25 instead of 23 elsewhere on Istan, is Mehtani Keys. When you zone in run straight ahead, try to stay in the water so you don't spawn the mandragors (possible ench strippers), and continue past the large scale mobs - with timing it right you can run all the way to the corsair bounty without aggroing a mob. Once there, there is a huge mob of corsairs - just be careful, the wizards can strip enchantments. Typically, the large mob splits in two and you can pull the first to behind the large rock. Depending on the spawn you can finish them all off and there is even a treasure chest there if you haven't already gotten it.

As a sidenote, the cutthroats and thugs (both warriors) aren't the only ones to drop the colossals..a raider dropped one for me just recently. I've attached a pic of the drops from the best short run I've had yet in the first area of Zehlon outside the Astralarium.

His focus item has the Inscription "Life Is Pain". Just scroll down a little to the Orange section and you should see it.

Just thought I would add, If it is the bunny cave and it is full of vaettir then the Melandrus resilience build for a ranger would clear it with no problems (same build used for farming vaettirs for glacial stones)

But even soo there is no way you would get anywhere near 100k an hour unless you happened to get a lot of +30s for swords as the drops are mostly dross out there

The drops are even worse in the Kveldulf cave in Norrhart domain, although the chest has spawned sme decent stuff there
