really? euhm... never heard of that one. thought wiki says ANY Boss can drop an elite tome so that statement above is kinda wrong....

Probably killed him ~50 time and about 150spiders around him (usually kill 3 per run) and i'll i've gotten is a few drops of 100gold...

I've get one elite tome from Zelnehlun, so keep trying ^^.

If someone wants to farm elite Ritualist Tome, IMO the easiest is Cho, Spirit Empath. Running from Senji's is very very easy, and farm him with A/E Build is too easy

bullshiz, I got an elite ele tome just outside kamadan form the plant ele there.... So every boss can drop an elite tome in hard mode...

Only bosses that have an Elite in Normal Mode have an Elite in Hard Mode.

hmm, I just thought of this one there's that Para boss in the first NF mission, Chahbek Village. You could probably take him easier even then the one outside of the sunspear hall or Jishol, just pin Koss/heroes at start.

I've gotten many an elite tome from tyrian bosses around Ascalon, so yeah, they drop from bosses w/o elites.

^^i dont understand why someone would think other wise seein as how you arent cappin a skill, tomes are DROPS

but yea, The Scar Eater and Darkroot Entrop are also good spots(i use A/E)

To be honest, I hate that skill, kd's are a bitch when 5 of them cast that on you lol.... Need fleeting stabilty I think lol but I keep forgetting to put that in the build.

I have found elite tomes to have about a 1% drop rate from bosses, have been farming lvl 26 bosses almost exclusively. Low anyway. IMO just buy them off people and do profitable farms which maybe have a chance of an elite tome, like farming exuro - don't actually try to farm the tomes themselves off something like byzzr, even though you can farm them really fast it's just not worth it.

Just to refresh, this thread and the OP's request aren't about what anyone *thinks* about farming bosses. It's not about posting incorrect (and irrelevant) 'facts' about why you feel that a boss has or should have an elite skill or is the wrong color.... Whether or not it's worth it to *you* to farm for elite tomes. Anecdotal 'evidence' is sometimes useful sometimes not, just something to consider.

It IS simply a thread for posting efficient builds and bosses for targets in hard mode with the goal of obtaining said elite tomes.

Please to keep in mind?

euhm... would be cool to make a thread where on first post would be mentioned the efficient and effective spots/builds for farming specific elite tomes. yeah it's getting messy here lol...

new:
warrior - riktund the vicious (e/a build, if you hurry - dash + dark escape, you can aggro the beetles and get enough dmg, remember to aggro beetles with dark escape on else you'll get raped)
ele - suneh stormbringer - e/a guess it's faster than other builds and he's down in no time even only with his fellow stormseeds
