2) Sliver Armor targetting issues. You know this. When surrounded without a chance of escaping, it means quick death.
3) Sufficient aggroing. You have to aggro a tremendous amount of mobs to make Sliver armor deal enough damage to kill the construct before it ends. That means that you have to wait the groups of mobs being close together, to attract them toward your boss. If you fail, not enough mobs will mean not enough damage and quick death. The waiting for the correct mob configuration can really take a lot of time.
4) Outhealing. Monks/ritualists or both will heal your target, and sometimes heal it really fast and well. Attracting more mobs is not a solution (as I tested it), as you will often attract more monks and more ritualists to heal your target (so mob composition, which is random, is really central also).
My success rate through my runs is something like 60%. And if the killing can be quick, the run/positionning can be really long.

I ask this because I'm beginning to wonder wether a 3 or 2-man run is not somewhere more profitable than this A/me solo build.
1. My method for getting past the Am Fah is simply run towards them. Click on ranger so you can see where he's setting traps (he's only usually done setting the first one when you get there and then does the second) use dark escape. Run past em, taking minor dmg, obviously avoiding traps and stop before the ramp down to the afflicted. Am Fah lose aggro long before then with DE on. From there I active Shadow of Haste, aggro afflicted and cast SF. Run past them and monk construct's group onto stairs. From there proceed to kill necro and mesmer constructs. I bet on average those two are around 5 mins and I'd say 90% success rate for me.
2. Use a wand and scroll if rangers are blinding you and sliver targets rangers. Other than that just aggro enough baddies and you should be able to kill all the other close by enemies for sliver to target the constructs.
3. I'd say two or three groups is plenty of aggro to kill any of the constructs, and the only hard one there is Monk. I prefer one group with several warriors/sins and good sliver targetting! :P Also, SoH from safe spot, dark escape when you're almost out of SF and try again. Sometimes takes a few tries before they drop.
4. The monk construct can be a pain, and I usually don't go after him because of spawn, but he's doable. Bring some extra damage to help with that, specially KD stuff.

As far as the warrior goes I use SF before aggroing the first group if there's a mesmer (aggro then SF if not), run up and death's charge to him. I bring rust to extend healing sig time and have had good success this way. Probably closer to 70% success rate though, closer to monk's construct.

I've quit doing this run for cash now (specially after 3x green weekend, ouch!) and just do it if I need a weapon specifically or a friend does. But I wouldn't hesitate to say with some skill and practice this is much more profitable than teaming up to do it.

You respawn to the other shire if you haven't activated that first shrine. If you run straight line to Am Fah you will not activate that shrine and the other shrine is closer to you when you die near mesmer or elementalist construct. That is why you have resurrected to that other shrine. I was confused also at first about that
That would explain a few things... i'll keep that in mind for the future.

Theres no real point. By ages i did mean about 30-60 seconds... but if you get a good run with no screw ups you've wasted some time on nothing. If you die on the Warrior Construct the Monk/Ele are nearby anyway, they don't cause that much trouble most of the time unless you get very unlucky with Spike Trap.

I think I'm just unlucky with spike trap then, it seems to get me most of time if I let Am Fah to live and nothing is more annoyning than getting green drop and then getting killed again and again to the spike traps and the green item still waiting for you there. And I usually get more or less bored or fustrated after couple of runs so I make lots of stupid mistakes there because of not having my consentration on doing things. (Forget to renew shadow of haste etc).

I have to try that rust to Warrior Construct, I think it drops little bit other success rate but then I can't be sure before testing. (why that didn't came to my mind even I use it against Sunreach..)

This update has made the farm easier than ever before.

Not once has a Construct fled when it got to lower hp (the warrior survived at 1% health before i died and didn't flinch at all).

Glyph of Elemental Power can be cast BEFORE you cast Shadow Form since it works on the next 5 spells letting you use Shadow Form, Deaths Charge, Sliver Armour, Tenai's Crystals and Crystal Wave all at +2 Earth Magic (obviously it does nothing to Shadow/Deaths).

The weak enemies just bugger off when they get to low health, meaning they don't die, so theres no chance something will res them halfway through. Although this i'm not as sure about.

Just in case anyone's interested, here's the build Desires was using to solo Chkkr Locust Lord and Reefclaw Ragebound. It works on any boss which relies on physical attacks that you can lure out (with the possible exception of Sskai, who has an annoying skill set):

Crit Eye
Critical Defenses
Way of Perfection
Flashing Blades
Wild Blow
Golden Phoenix Strike
Critical Strike
Blinding Powder

12+1+2 Dagger
11+2 Critical Strikes
6+1 Shadow Arts

Just an update:

Works in nightfall, I got shagu's anthem (req 9 command health +30 -5 20%).

Start at camp hojanu and go to the barbarous shore. Keep running down around the river, and keep your eye out for a paragon boss around There.

I used this build:

Death's Charge/Shadow of Haste/Dash/Obsidian flame/crystal wave/aftershock/shadow form/sliver armor.

sliver armor doesn't do a ton of damage to him for some reason, so once you shadow step to him, immediately cast obs flame and aftershock so you can catch the recharge on them so you can hit him multiple times.

I like shadow of haste+dash because it allows you to teleport to safety if sliver hits the wrong guy or you can't quite kill him, and he's kind of a bugger to take down. Not impossible, it's just is a bit harder than farming sunreach.

If you suck at farming sunreach don't even try.

Also, to get past some mobs I use shadow form to run past them, and then wait for regen because I have no room for shadow refuge

You can still solo sunreach without any changes.

What are all those skills always in your upkeep monitor? And what skills are you using to deal damage? The videos are small so it's hard to tell.

Great videos, btw! Gave me renewed faith in my sin!! I've been having huge trouble since I hit around 16 - 20 now, but still a real hard time.

Turned me on to Sliver Armor and Dark Escape. Was using far inferior escape skills before and Air/Water magic in my build.

Works wonders on most Nightfall bosses. An interesting thing is even the rangers (the ones I've found anyway) go down pretty fast. The only bosses that I cannot solo with this build in Nightfall are those that have 3 cohorts and miles of empty space around them. *shakes fist at Chiossen*

EDIT: Forgot to add, the new Assassin skill Feigned Neutrality is really, really fun. Dark Escape, Feign, run past anything that doesn't snare.

Other than any difficulty reaching bosses since both Margonites and Torments have water snares, which Shadow Form could cover for if you have space to rest, there shouldn't be any trouble down there.

Hey I read your post on this build on the wiki and I had some questions about the bosses. I am doing everything right but I can only farm the scar eater and the woe spreader. Whenever I try something else, the boss doesnt take enough damage fast enough and I die. This especially happens with Sskai, Dragons Birth. What am I doing wrong?

I can only so far solo the scar eater and woe spreader. I have tried every single other person. I am doing everything right but I can never kill them. Either half the time silver armor doesn't target the boss and it targets a random person 5 feet away or the enchantments run out. what the heck do I have to do to get this to #^@#$% work?! I have been trying for weeks!
