Default Fastest way to farm Destroyer Ingredients

As the title states, do you guys just platinum farm the money needed to buy them from the npc?

[if so, how? monster farm? questing? etc.]

There's several different routes to do it, but I'm interested in the route that uses the fewest backups. [heroes only or maybe even soloing]

Also, I'm trying to get the Destroyer Axe specifically for my Warrior in Guild Wars 2 (or whatever bonus having a destroyer weapon in your Hall would bring)

Try to be specific, like a report. I need some steps to mirror the fastest past to either all that platinum [yow], or rapid fire questing etc.

Thanks for your help!

1)Make a Ritualist
2)Get said ritualist to Doomlore Shrine
3)Set up yourself and a monk hero for 600Rt/Smite
4)Run ppl through Cathedral of Flames and make upwards of 20k within an hour along with onyx/diamonds from hidden chests along the way.
5)Use gained money to purchase materials for D-Weapons.

IMHO, that is my fastest way.

Power trading is always the fastest. But requires a lot of luck. I used to be able to find rare minis like naga and yeti's for 100k+50e and could easily resell for double.

Currently have 7 Destroyer weps on my monument and I'm hoping to fill it eventually.

If you are patient (ie lazy ), an effortless way to get diamonds and onyx gemstones are to get CoF runs in HM. Every now and then you can get an Onyx from a Hidden treasure (4 so far for me), and the 2 final chest drops very often give onyx/dia. Any other junk can be sold or salvaged. Costs 2k a run and you don't have to do anything. Otherwise just do all dungeons as you would normally and you'll get a few crafting mats in the end.

To complement this you can farm gold via your favourite farming method. Elite tomes can net you good cash (up to 12k) which can be used to buy stacks of granite and iron. Prices of Onyx at at an all time low of 2.9k allowing you to buy from others at 2.5k. Diamonds can be bought for ~800g ea.

Overall a destroyer weapon should cost:
10(2.5) + 10(0.8) + Granite(3.5k) + Iron(1.5k) + 5k = 43k

You're welcome but just keep in mind, it'll take a while to get used to the run. i recommend doing a few trial runs before actually running people.

Also, if you have issues with the spiders in there, bring Mindbender. It won't stop the interrupts but it will make things a bit easier for you.

If you want to see it in action, PM me in-game. Name's Tsao Yagami.

Main tip for the cof run is if you have a big group of enemies don't forget to use shield of absorption. It slows down the killing a bit but it'll save your life.

Rt600 actually doesn't need SoA, it's optional

True, but I was just saying that for people who start out I saw one monk who died 2-3 times at the big groups of enchanted. Needless to say he was skimping on shield of absorption in favor of spamming spirit bond which ended up killing him since I believe he spammed it before duration ended.

An alternative to gold farming for granite and iron is to hit Old Ascalon HM with a 55 Spoil Victor necro (SS works as well but SV is a bit more efficient especially with the two bosses). Sulking Stone Elementals drop granite directly, and when you process the rest of the loot properly (ID, regular salvage those that have a chance of yielding granite or iron, merch the rest) you'll get all the granite, iron and gold pretty soon (I dedicated two playing sessions for that and got enough for all the 11 weapons). In addition to that, I got 1 Elite Elementalist Tome, 2 Rubies, maybe 30 rares and 50 lumps of charcoal which is not too bad for such a trivial farming run (the only skill that the elementals have is Dwarven Cattle Prance which just kills them faster ). Stay clear of Shatter Gargoyles and large mobs of Grawl, though.
