Thumbs up Easiest HM Farm Ever! Farm With Every Profession.

I just wanted to let people know there is a EoTN spot in Ice Cliffs Chasm that you can farm in Hard Mode with any profession possible, and just about any build that inflicts damage or degen. You can easily kill and farm these Snow Wurms just outside Boreal Station. I'm sure people already know about this, but just wanted to tell the ones that didn't know.

The drops aren't the greatest, but you do get lockpicks, tomes, alot of purples, and a few golds. The runs take about 8-10 Minutes depending on build you use, and there is only 10-13 Snow Wurms in the area, but 3 of them are usually near Pinesouls, which you should stay away from... unless you can get at them wurms without aggroing Pinesouls. Sometimes the Pinesouls spawn away from those 3 wurms, then your all set to get at them. Here is a map of the farming area: Area Map.jpg

You can also use your Norn Title if you need to for the extra health, mainly for melee builds.

================================================== =======

Here are some example builds I put together for farming these wurms: Some builds will be fairly quick, and others might be slow... But here are some faster builds. I just slapped these together, so they might not be the best or the quickest builds u can use against Snow Wurms... but its a start

================================================== =======

Ritualist: (Fast)

Vengeful Was Khanhei (Elite)
Pain Inverter
Vengeful Weapon
Lamentation
Essence Strike
Protective Spirit
Vampirism
Bloodsong

Template Code: OAOk8ohsISKkFjcJxDlzyU9gPY5E

Equipment: Basic 330hp equipment from my build. If want to know equipment, go to this link: 330hp Rt/Mo Vengeful Spirit Bonder

Usage: Find a spot where you can lay both spirits so they will attack the surrounding Snow Wurms. Mainly just try to get 3 Wurms within Earshot, then lay Spirits. Run into Melee Range, cast VwK, Pain Inverter, Vengeful Weapon, Lamentation, Essence Strike... and one should be dead. Energy usage is not bad, so you should have plenty to kill them off and regen up in between. There is no need for Spirit Bond, or any other enchants for farming these Wurms, so no worries.

Good thing about having the spirits is that they will still attack and do damage while the Snow Wurms are under ground.... it speeds things up a bit.

================================================== =======
Necro: (Fast)

Spiteful Spirit (Elite)
Insidious Parasite
Pain Inverter
Necrosis
Parasitic Bond
Glyph of Lesser Energy
Signet of Lost Souls
Awaken The Blood

Golden Phoenix Strike
Moebius Strike (Elite)
Death Blossom
"I Am The Strongest!"
Critical Defenses
Critical Agility

================================================== ========

Paragon: (Medium Fast)

Barbed Spear
Spear of Redemption
Holy Spear
Blazing Spear
Spear of Fury
"I Am The Strongest!"
Frenzy
Focused Anger (Elite)

THIS IS GREAT FOR Survivor character farming!! they dont even attack back and they are worth 396 exp each and its easy to kill one every 30 seconds, so 3x 396 is 1,188 exp per kill!!

edit yes they drop decent just got a lockpick

also they are melee worms so if you stay back they cant hit you

Yeah, they drop lockpicks, tomes, alot of purples and shit... and i got more than a few golds. req 9 highlander blade... and got a fiery blade axe from chest. Also, have got some golden talon daggers.... thing is, there isn't a whole lot of them in the area, so you only killin 10 wurms in 10 minutes... but they do drop golds.

Get gold scrolls and you will get twice that, or triple...depending on scroll. I think brawling with Ironfist would also be good for survivor too...since you get Knocked out instead of dying.

What I've used for monk.

Anything you can farm I can 55
This is extremely easy, just cast essence/spirit walk up to one, hit prot spirit and sv. They'll die before you reach 10 hp. If they stop taking damage from sv just hit gaze and move on.

Edit: Gaze is better.

Yeah, I thought of using SV, but you really don't need it... The build I slapped together there for Necro works extremely fast... damage spikes over 150+ damage. 37+47+ whatever pain inverter does, necrosis +73.... and energy is quite good. I thought it was pretty interesting to use, and pretty fun... give it try

Hey Rezz can you run this one with a 330 rit? I thought I noticed someone up there say they don't even attack back which would make that a little difficult. I'm astill loving my 330 rit and I've already scoped a few melee heavy areas in EotN that I'll be hitting once my necro beats it.

Yeah, they do attack, but of course at melee range... if u get in close enough they will attack you. I haven't tried it personally with my 330hp build, as you are only takin on one foe, and energy might become a problem. I will come up with a different build that will kill wurms alot quicker, and be good on energy... you really don't need any invinci skills, as they only do 20-50 damage to max armor. I'll post a build for Rit in alil bit, ill go slap a build together for it.

Sweet. Yeah I can see where you are coming from. They aren't the most threatening thing in the world. I hadn't thought about energy concerns but with a Seize the day staff and the maintained it can be tricky. I know that that one lone boss in Minister Cho's estate HM can be a real energy drain at times.

I only mention 330 because I use it to farm just about anything where I can count on groups of solid melee enemies and it has become one of my favorite builds to run for farming purposes just because it is so quick.

There, I added a 330hp type build for using Pain Inverter with VwK, and a few other skills. I tried it out, and worked pretty good...fairly fast.

Also, Seize the Day don't affect you much, as you don't get any weapon or staff benefits while holding items.... but that extra energy comes in handy while VwK is down. But no worries here. All you need is one VwK to take out a Wurm.

This is BOUND to get nerfed.

No offense or anything. It looks great. Gives me a reason to complete GW:EN (which I've been putting off out of pure apathy) ..... but I doubt A-Net will let it live for long.

Man I wish this wasn't posted as this is the best place to level pets into evolutions you want and I've been using it since week 1. Even greater with HM. It's sure to be nerfed somehow.

I must have the worst luck in the world!
I headed straight for that spot on the Friday Hard Mode was introduced.
I used a 55 Necro and got absolutely nothing from the wurms and 2 whites from the Pinesouls. Only tried it once because i thought that those wurms are a lost cause (

You can always level pets while taming them. I level my pets to lvl 20 in about 30-45 minutes, and get Dire when I tame it.

I really don't see why it would be nerfed, as they are just some useless Wurms. lol. Yeah its easy, but it ain't like you will make a shit load of money doing it.

Hmm, I got a black dye from one of them. I'm sure it's not because they're lvl 30 and hard mode, or maybe I dunno. Worked for me so far.
