Default Farming a specific green.

I'm looking for Wingstorm. Any tips on farming that particular green? Or just run, kill, map, wash, rinse repeat till it drops?

Am I better off waiting till I finish Factions and do it in HM?

just go and kill him over and over, if you can solo him - more chance of it dropping then.... or, buy it off a player

So maybe I should drag some other guildies along to help, so I get a better chance of it droping for someone? That's an idea.

yeah taking friends along is better than taking heroes/henches

EDIT: you can do it whenever you want because iirc hard mode doesnt affect the drop rate on greens

That and do it in as small a party as you can manage. HM doesn't change its drop rates.

the easiest way to get a hold of one is to go over to the buy forum and make a thread for it. You should be able to pick one up for a couple of k.

I'm wandering around that area at the moment anyway, so I'll see if I can't get it to drop first. I'll keep that in mind though.

NM and HM makes no difference as far as green drops go.

You could clear the path with H/H then flag them off your radar to kill the boss.

I farmed him a while back (just for one drop, as I collect greens for personal use).

Heroes to clear the area, send him back, then solo him. I believe I used n/me with blood spells (siphon, transfer, vamp gaze, shadow strike), dom (backfire, empathy), and a couple signets

hmm, seems like he'd be easy prey for a vow of silence derv who knows how to pull with a flatbow even without clearing first.
