Default Raptor farming help

I got bored and decided to do some farming.
I looked and found the E/Me interesting and looked pretty straight forward.
I got all my gear and skills set up for earth.
I went out and did great when it came to everything in cave but...the boss.
The minute she attacks I last like 1-3 secs and then I die.
So what is it that does the trick? What could I do different?

Any suggestions or help will, as always be appreciated.

I am not sure what build you are using but I find following E/Me build works well to ensure that she dies quickly, as well as all of the nestlings. Each run takes less than 3 minutes. I just timed it and it took 2 minutes and 32 seconds from zone to end.

Armor of the Earth
Stoneflesh Aura
Glyph of Renewal
Sliver armor
You Move like a Dwarf
Aura of Restoration
Channeling
Mantra of Resolve
  1. Run to the edge of the cave. Cast Mantra of Resolve, Channeling, Aura of Restoration, Armor of the Earth, Stoneflesh Aura.
  2. Gather all of the raptors in the cave but save Momma's group for last. Remember to keep all the skills you have cast up.
  3. Select Momma a run straight to her. Cast Glyph or Renewal, Sliver Armor, and then keep casting other ele skills to give you health and energy. Rinse and repeat GoR and Sliver and dont forget to keep the other skills up.

If you know how Sliver works than you know that you want to be standing next to Momma so that there aren't any nestlings between you and her. If sliver hits her first than she will be dead in less than 4 seconds if you have all the nestlings on you and less than 8 seconds if you have half of them on you. I bring move like a dwarf because momma likes to run away when she gets too much damage. It knocks her down and cripples her for a few seconds so she doesn't get away. Momma will still deal damage but you should be able to easily sustain it. If you let her get away than she will come back and kill you.

Yep in the E/Me build here, the key is to cast Magnetic Aura just when you start to get aggro from the group with the boss, but not too soon (or late, of course) so that she can't kill you with Twisting Fangs.

If I'm interpreting this correctly you're killing everything in the cave then the momma? You're suposed to lure them to the Broodmother then use sliver armor.

I can merely suggest you to go E/A instead and use a build similar to the "Gloom Farmer" which exists on wiki, as it can kill them raptors alot faster then sliver, although no the boss.
If you insist on killing the boss - use the "Boss Farmer" on wiki too, and toss in "Air of Superiority" which will make Shadowform Recharge.
also - wik i= www.pvxwiki.com

I have to agree with Kotte. But come to think about it if you farm them for profit ,you're wasting your time imho.Raptorz are only worth farming during events who contain the "special" drops like eggs, bunnies, pumpkin pie etc...
