Evilsod, nice adds, as for chkkr locust lord, you can pull him out with a bow when hes alone on the small island, then nothing else will come. If you switch back and forth between the +15 -1 energy set and the usual set, you should be able to kill him without luckying the faster Oob recharge.

He never seemed to follow me far enough. I haven't gotten round to finding a +15/-1 energy set yet though sadly. I hope they require Black Pearls though, the Whispering Rit Lord is giving me plenty.

offhand +15 energy:
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Yohei
putrid cysts
or
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Peltsman_Jiri
blood drinker pelts
or
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Brandon_Harlin
endcrusted lodestones

I'm not aware of a factions collector for the +15 nrg wand so that would need to be crafted:
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Honglei_Sun
or you can get the non max collector one from maguuma:
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Crispin_Bryllis

hope this helps

Anyone know what the drop rate is like for the Ritual Lords staff? He just won't give me it!

Switch out Whirling Defences for Signet of Agony. 25 seconds of bleeding really does drag his health down, whereas Whirling just makes him run off.

Lorelle jade cutter: I've only been able to solo her twice with a much higher nuber of failures. I wouldn't leave her on the soloable list. Duo, medium.

Hmm, just an odd point and question.

Been farming the rit lord for a while now (FINALLY got a staff to show for it). Then the last few runs everytime i pull it i end up with a group after me too thats patrolling very closely to it...

Now i can guess i'll have probably activated the anti-farm code by now. But doesn't that just affect drops not spawns?

It may be that Rt bosses are more stingy than others, ive killed both whispering lord and delic dozens of times (never more than 2 or 3 a day), and only 1 green between them so far.

Chkkr Thousand Tail - Easy. Distracting Shot anyone?

Razortongue Frothspit - Medium. Have to lure his group round the corner first. Kill off the Carps/Fish, you can normally live without bothering to kill the rits, they're spirits never seem to be placed properly anyway. That or you can run out kill 1 and run back round the corner to heal. Don't bring them in range of the Luxon Priest. The **** heals the enemies more than he does you.

The patrol problem, have you checked for added quests? or completed quests perhaps?

as for Chkkr locust lord, I have found plague touch + the signet that makes u bleed work very well on him, just don't take any running skill (u won't need em anyways) lure him out with a longbow and just touch him to death, I did it without ever needing to change to my +15 energy set..

Confirmed chkkr brightclaw, med.
I used distracting shot for his spirit and outdamaged spirit light. no other kills necessary if you time approach right.

Nah he's back to normal again now. Must've been a bit random. Same thing happened while farming Razortongue, some trips his group wouldn't pull so i had to restart, some the group to the side patrolled far in.

edit: Why didn't i think of Distracting Shot for him.... took me 6 attempts to finally kill him off.

Agreed for medium.... only for the time it takes to there, rather than the kill (Taking Byzzr Wingmender and Chkkr Locustlord along the way)

This guy is actually fairly easy. Ive tried this method a number of times and it seems to work each time. Go up the stairs and shoot at him with your bow from there, he will cast recuperation. Get him in your agro bubble and run back down the stairs, making sure he follows you.

At this point its important that you watch for his recuperation spirit to drop, and be ready to distract the next one. Start touching him with bow in hand. For some reason, although he has recup, spirit light and spirit light weapon, if you distract his recuperation he seems to stop using the other 2. I switch back to Gordac's set and he is a very easy kill from there. I only ever go into his area if there is a chest to get after killing him, but you should be able to get him without getting his buddies to drop in on you

Spirit Light Weapon - Heals x a second if a spirit is in the area

Spirit Light - Heals a large amount, sacrifice 10% health if a spirit is not in the area

Thats why

Maybe making a seperate rating for the bosses (and his group if needed) and the time to farm would be good. When I see the 'hard' it doesn't seem like a time rating. Would be helpful to know what build to use on what boss.

Great info, gunna go try some bosses

generally, throw dirt ;lightning reflexes ;whirling defense; Offering of blood; vampiric touch; vampiric bite; dodge; distracting shot can take down most of the bosses if you play it right. After killing the boss once or twice you will find distr shot unneeded or another skill unneeded and you can fit in skills as you like.

I tried Whispering Ritual Lord this morning and there were no less than 5 patrols of scuttlefish/carp that seemed to intermingle with him. I could get him alone for very short periods of time, but eventually I'd have to break off the attack because the patrols would close in.

I had a few quests active that I'm going to abandon to see if it makes a difference.

Thats because it depends where you farm him. Believe me i went to cap his elite on my Ranger and got myself into that corner. And just like you said, no less than 5 patrols come down on your in no time, its just a massacre when that happens (i stupidly did this 3 more times).

So while farming his staff i tried to see if i could find a spot where he can be pulled alone. The answer, the bridge on the other side. On the other side of the Oni, just wait a bit and there should be a gap in the patrols between the Fish and the Turtles, just run across, up the steps (ignore the Saltsprays that patrol in front of it, or kill them while you wait, your choice ). After a couple of minutes he floats all the way round and ends up down the side of the bridge, lure him with a flat/longbow and just keep making him follow you back to avoid the patrols at the side, don't go much further than the back of the bridge of Oni spawn. He's a pushover, Whirling Defences is a definate no-no as he runs off, but most of the time its AI is too crap to use Ritual Lord properly so you don't even have spirits to contend with.
Thinking about it it might be easier to start from Unwaking. If i could get past these frigging code13s i'd find out.
