Default ritualist hm snow wurm farm

Ok so these aren't exactly difficult to farm but this is a pretty quick and effective and you can use this for getting legendary survivor safely if you wanted to.

Skills are [skill]pain[/skill][skill]vampirism[/skill][skill]bloodsong[/skill][skill]Finish Him![/skill][skill]Offering of Spirit[/skill][skill]painful bond[/skill][skill]Summon Spirits[/skill][skill]Sprint[/skill]

My attributes have been:
channeling 12 + 1 + 1
communing 12
spawning power 4+1

Norn r3, sunspear r8, kurz r2

Sprint can be replaced with any run buff you want and is only for speeding up the run. If you don't stand right next to the wurms you wont take any damage so you could ideally run a channeling headpiece w/+3 channeling, +3 communing, +3 spawning power runes but you kill plenty fast without them. I'm sure you could run this build as a any/rit effectively as well. An added bonus of of the spirits is they often will continue to attack a wurms under the ground. Enjoy

Haven't seen anything amazing but some of its not too bad. Draconic spears, platinum broadswords, Spiked Targe, Shield of the lion, greater guardian spears, militia shields, dyes (got a black here), Warrior tomes, etc. It's a pretty good spot for chest running as well, theres almost always at least one chest spawned here, sometimes two.

I also did this to get my legendary survivor on my rit, although the bar was slightly different. As far as the drops go, I got golds, lockpicks, and almost everything else that dropped salvaged to iron/steel. I used scrolls of slayer's insight to get 924 xp per kill, i think the scrols cost me 800gp. If you're into working your lucky/unlucky title and you have loads of money to blow on picks, there is almost always a chest where the wurms start to spawn and sometimes a second one within compass range. These chests locations only work in hardmode unfortunately

Might have to give these Wurms a try. RedoGG has Rit but his is more complexed for this farm. I like a simple build with similar results.

Not to be nitpicky, but in terms of getting the LS title, would this be faster than going x/A with 12 dagger mastery and farming Kilroy Stonekin's dungeon?

I can see it being even safer since wurms won't attack so even if you hit a lag spike/dc you should be safe, but the amount of xp gain doing Kilroy's quest seems tough to beat.

Well I just did a full 10 wurm run (there's 13 but if you were going for LS you would want to skip the last 3).

/age says the run takes me 3 minutes and each worm gives 396xp in HM without a scroll.
So a run yields 3960xp and you could do at max 20 runs in an hour so that's 79,200 XP per hour. I don't know where Kilroy's falls in regards to this.

Exactly. It is also fool-proof, if people want to do LS nowadays I would do Kilroy. I had to cap Elites and stuff before.

Nothing wrong with the run, but it is just not efficient/needed, a bit superfluous in the light of better alternatives.

Without scrolls, a Kilroy's run in HM, being conservative here, takes about 10 minutes and yields 20,000xp. You of course can go faster than this, but I use ten minutes in case of zoning, chatting, lag, etc.

So 120,000xp per hour, without scrolls. Thats if my numbers are correct.

Of course, its a bit longer, and more button mashing, the wurm farm is relaxed and almost zero chance of dieing. Of course you have to do a LOT more wurm farms, so it probably all evens out in the end.

The plus side with Kilroy's is that any profession can do it, although I've noticed it goes faster with maxed out Dagger Mastery and Furious modded knuckles, so a A/x or x/A is best.

But my next character that I'll be bothered with to get LS is a rit anyways, so maybe I'll alternate so as not to get bored.

Worms is even more boring then kilroy since the runs are extremely short and till u get the hang of the spawns time the worms will borrow at 10% hp and make it extremely frustrating, once you do get then hang its fine i guess. Good alternative if your suffering form high ping or think that kilroy is dangereous.
