i gave it a go to get ready for this weekend, and it works beautifully.

i ran this:

only small problem is killing the last one or two, but it's no big deal if you can kill everything else. i went Armor - Stone - Mental - Glyph - aggro - Mist - Sliver - Air - Standard (with Glyph if you get AoS) etc. i'm thinking sig of Sorrow, perhaps?

Just a heads up; Glyph of Concentration is going to be nerfed again to 1 spell.

if so, hopefully not until after this weekend. even then, i'd bet that PvP/PvE split will give it some love.

Even with glyph nerfed to 1 spell, you can still get 1 casting of mist form at the entrance and then use glyph for sliver, giving you, about the same 1st round of skills. Of course, we hope that the glyph remains like it is.

Here it is, for non-believers. Its a video recorded now (i mean without the processing time lol), using one ranger variant.

Maybe i am lucky but i counted 5 times casting glyph (counting the first at the entrance)... so.. the problem is...? :P

Yup,

According to the new Dev-update:

"Glyph of Concentration: decreased number of spells that cannot be interrupted to 1."

That's for today, 22 may.

So this builds are going to be ubernerfed or we must update with something like your build above :P.

I like magnetic aura because of the 5 energy req, but... still have troubles

.

A new order could be:

Armor of mist -> stoneflesh aura -> mist form -> glyph -> sliver -> air of superiority ->(hoping they recharge) -> glyph -> sliver, magnetic aura -> mist form.

Putting coal to the thinking machine....! :P

Glyph of Conc's change was for both PvP and PvE.

as long as you work fast, the Magnetic build i posted will work rather well. Stoneflesh is rather unneeded, because you get hit so little where it isn't particularly worth a skillslot. simply get hit once or twice while aggroing to keep up Mental Block, and Magnetic's a tough interrupt, even for them. of course, there are times where you'll get unlucky and they'll get Magnetic or Sliver, or you won't get a single recharge from Air, but the successful runs can and will outweigh the failed ones.

Btw, you dont fave Assassin spsific build...like one Taco made for nec. This what I am running:

Aggro everything, shadow step to Reckoff so sliver targets her. ^^

Ehm, maybe this will do. Trying to halp. ^^

errr, excuse me? amphasis on your first line. Didn't you read my reply? I DID try it, even put in a screenie... Taco was using the exact build I used (adding a variant) that i already verfied works. Sometimes, farming threads confuse me....

NP! maybe a little change because of glyph nerfing. But it may rock!

Anyway... after today's update we should update and prepare the builds for this weekend :P.

dw ragnadarg. thing is, i don't really find raptors worth farming anymore, when i first farmed them i'd get between 1-4 golds every run, and i could zone and re run in like 1:30 - 2 mins, so it was good profit. but no i don't get golds at all tbh. just every now and then like 1 in 5 runs, drop rate has diminished loads.

I feel the same, but i see some need of build for non ele/assa/warrior chars. Even with the lack of drop, you still got asuran points. My ele got his R6 there :P.

By the way... what farm worth nowadays?

I'm trying this one on my Necro, but I can't seem to kill them all.
Most of the time I can kill only 5. I think I'm just being unlucky with Air
I cast the skills in a 1-8 sequence, so I don't think I'm doing anything wrong here.

Are you making an effort to kill the boss first? if you kill him relatively quickly, you should be covered. you're precasting 1, 2, and 3, right? then you try to cast glyph under Magnetic? (if that fails, you try for Sliver under Magnetic + Mental Block.) that's about all the advice i can offer - there's a couple different variations you can use, like the one Seth posted - if mine isn't working for you, i'm sure another variant will.

About the boss, i realy don't know how i should target the boss first...

I really like this Mist Form idea for raptor farming. It seems to be more predictable than the Stone Striker build. Here's what seems to work for me:

Use a 20% enchanting something to give you more time on the running skill.

Cast Armor of Mist and Glyph of Sacrifice (1&2) in mouth of cave and run in and aggro all the raptors. Watch your Glyph carefully, when it starts to blink, go ahead and cast your Mist Form (3). You probably won't have made it far enough to aggro the boss mob, so go ahead and walk in and aggro the Broodmother. This was killing me because they would always interrupt sliver, so I added the dual blocking skills which seems to protect against any sort of interrupt (it happens extremely rarely). I assume that whirling defense and magnetic aura are cumulative because when I only use one of them I get interrupted A LOT. You can then hit the rest of your skill bar (Air of Superiority, Sliver Armor, and EBSOH) and recharge Mist as needed. They never seem to do any damage to me, so I just run all radiant and attunement. Be sure to hold aggro on the Broodmother or she will run away. Another trick you can do is that as soon as you talk to the Weapon Krewe Asuran is to run far to the right so you can see the red dots of the raptor nestlings on your radar (through the wall, before you go into the cave). You can then tab select the Broodmother beforehand so that you aren't fumbling around trying to click on her when you are doing the run. Failures are very rare. Causes of major failure: #1 Rubber banding running through cave (don't bump into anything), #2 Interrupted sliver (still happens, but very rarely), #3 Bad angorodon spawn (nothing you can do about that, rezone). Even if Air of Superiority doesn't give you a recharge, you will get a recharge for killing the Broodmother. Worst case, you will still get 25 kills and kill the boss.

Please critique my build if you have improvements. Overall, I think the mist form is highly more predictable than this build (thanks for the thread!):

Just lure many raptors as you want and go to her group, casting sliver near rekoff. Then while sliver does his job, just hit her with your staff. If fleeing for you, she will come back and be the autotarget (again) from sliver.

^^. Dont happens with melee weapons, of course.. you will be bodyblocked and cant hit her, so sliver will end.. as your life.

Thanks for helping with more templates.. Looks like this kind of things will help now with our beloved (and nerfed) glyph.
