Sliver while a good farm in many places, is VERY slow in killing these mobs. Even at 16 Earth Sliver Armor only does 7 damage per hit. As well, running Elemental lord, getting it up to 17, it still doesnt do more than 7 damage. So while sliver tends to be very productive, 7 damage recurring can kill 1 maybe 2 per cast, you are going to take a LOOONG time to kill all 60.

Well if your actually farming these things for drops you need sliver armour, it may only do 7 damage but you use it to stagger kills.

If you kill 30 foes in 1 AoE spell then you will get 2 drops, if you get all the foes down to 20~ HP with crystal wave first then use sliver armour you will get 15 drops.
Its the same in UW, if you kill a mob of 20 smites with 1 combo then your missing out on a lot of ecto.

Try it yourself, it makes the most difference when your actually grinding the area for an hour or so, then you really start to notice the anti-farm taking hold on your drops.
